I have a service dog who has attended every church service with me - we were even openly welcomed at Athey Creek where Pastor Brett Meador teaches, and our own church in Salem. As we were walking up - a guy in a red tshirt tells us my service dog isn't allowed. Very disappointing!! We left and drove back to Faith Baptist where I went as a teenager for events.

The minute I walked through the door I felt MY heart open up. I was greeted by wonderful people who welcome me with a smile and a hug... The music moved me to my very soul.. I could feel the inner child coming alive dancing and playing, and then came the talk...... The words spoken by Rev. Steven where the words of my heart... With each word spoken my heart open a little more... It began to open up and flow unrestricted without fear of being me .... Only flowing with pure love... That was a little over 9 months ago now and I have no words to describe the gratitude I hold in my heart for this space and these beautiful souls who share themselves here....I participate in every activity I can. I visited St. Mark's in September of 2022 and quickly decided I wanted to make it my home church…read more The people are friendly, the liturgy is meaningful and the atmosphere is peaceful yet vibrant. Since joining the congregation, I've found that our members live the mission statement of "Sharing Christ's love by feeding people in body, mind, and spirit." New people are quickly welcomed to volunteer in the many ministries and outreach activities. Not only is the church sanctuary beautiful, but we also have an attractive, modern and spacious community center (complete with a large kitchen) where we have coffee hour, pot-lucks, memorials and other church-related functions. Non-members and other members of the public are welcome to rent our community center for their special events or meetings. Affordable event space in Medford is limited, especially somewhere that comfortably seats 120 people. Another benefit for those who wish to be married in our sanctuary (you don't have to be a member of our church), your reception space is only a few steps away for you and your guests. Whether you live in the area, or are passing through, you're welcome to join us in worship and stay for some coffee, snacks and conversation.

I have easily made appointments with Father Bill to talk to hiim one on one. He has a delightful sense of humor. Father Arjie is wonderful also. He also has a great sense of humor and both priests share a lot about their own struggles and faith. The church has so many programs for it's parishioners. They offer prayer groups, jail ministry, relations recovery. They also have a mobile kitchen for meals. Also a teen and family group. I hope if you are interested give the church a call. They have a group that is for newcomers to the catholic faith and a program to welcome back Catholics who have left the faith.

Actually, we do more than walk by, as Trinity Episcopal is also home to its Trinity Gardens, which is the site of a very nice, calming and spiritual Labyrinth. Here's the 411: Trinity Garden consists of a large Chartres style labyrinth and sacred ground for the scattering or burial of parishioners' ashes. Low benches, a trellis, and a fountain are additional garden amenities. The trellis with seating beneath serves as a visual connection to the church building itself. We like to stroll through parts, stop, retrace, leave, come back, sit on the nearby bench, listen to the water, each other, and ourselves, enjoy, and silently reflect. It's a welcome spiritual respite and offers a different experience each time we visit, and in whatever weather.

Right after, before the blessing, I started getting bored, since I could hardly understand what the priest is announcing by this time. Thank you, just the same, for having mass, while visiting Medford! This church makes it Catholic Church #63 visited in the USA.
