NBR is not just an experience, it is a state of mind. I will never forget the most amazing experience of my life. I can't imagine how people from all over the world, travel to have surgery with the best board certified/world renowned surgeon; Dr. Charles Garramone -- and stay in a mediocre hotel. As an ftm individual in transition, my community is already marginalized. Staying here, I was able to befriend others experiencing the exact same thing I was. Sharing one of the most important decisions in our lives, and feeling like we belong. That's just one of the many perks at NBR. I am in control of my finances, so I did the math: The cost of a hotel, shuttle reservations to the hotel from and to airport, taxi to and from my pre-op AND post-op consultations to Dr. Garramone's office, taxi to and from the surgical center (The surgical center and Dr. Garramone's office are 5.7 miles away from each other), taxi to and from supermarket. And let's be honest, you'll end up doing a second trip. All would have been an extra $400-550 (with market adjustment). This is with a cheap hotel and no kitchen to cook a decent meal. Not to mention I would not have had the opportunity of the amazing camaraderie, that I was able to experience with the other guys. (from all over the world) Did I mention they also work directly with Dr. Garramone's office? All you have to do is mention you're staying at NBR and they'll make sure you're scheduled for surgery, when there are open rooms at NBR. The biggest selling point for me was being able to have surgery without a companion. In the state of Florida, you are not allowed to leave after surgery alone. Unfortunately, the people that I wanted to accompany me could not afford to leave work for a week. Having NBR vouch for my patient release, is by far the most convenient perk. I am so grateful for this place. So grateful, I am now accompanying my best friend. For his life changing experience and I get to revisit mine. Bonnie and Leland are not just staff, they become your family. They don't treat you like some front desk drone. Not only are they so amazingly hospitable, but they are certified nurses. I should also mention Leland is also an FTM who's had surgery with Dr. Garramone and is a believer in his wonderful work. Both Leland and Bonnie are huge supporters and advocates of the LGBTQ community. So any concerns you may have, don't fret. Just give them a holler and they'll assure you when you're being paranoid of your drains or your bandages. Let them melt all your nerves away. read more

You guys need awnings if you're going to have these long lines. There is a covered line in the…read morebeginning to get tickets but no fans. So it's people packed in a line in the heat. Then you get your tickets and go to another line and wait in the baking sun on hot pavement with no fan, just watering lines meant for a garden that don't extend to the full line. The buses were running so slow and packed to the point people were forced to stand in the aisle. When we got to the launch site, the attendee THREW a strap at my head when I asked for a joining strap for my husband and i's tube. It actually hit me in the face and he laughed and apologized. We got on the water and things were great. So once you're out of the company's care, you're fine.

My family and friends just got back from an amazing vacation. We had 5 boys with us ranging from 6…read moreyears old to 12 years old. Water park was amazing-all slides were open for us when we went. Some rides are single and a lot were double tube, which makes it a blast! The sand was pristine, soft and clean! My 6 year old was able to go on all rides except we didn't try the Intimidator & Triple Threat (thrill level 5) BUT the older boys loved it! The life guards were lively and fun-had red white and blue hats and girls had sparkles and festive. Each ride my little one went on, they all would cheer and give high 5's! We stayed on the beach part and rented a Palapa. The Palapa gave shade for the entire family (10). All food and snack places open!!! Pizza, ice cream, dip n dots, tiki bars-yes plural, restaurants. Also, restrooms directly behind the Palapas!!!! Mushroom watering were replaced with cool surfboard cool and rinse stations- If that wasnt enough you can hop right behind the rinse stations to Parakeet Springs, which we did a walk through to MANY time to mini water falls-buckets of water (like the mushrooms), sprinklers and plenty of places to cool of. Lastly they also give teacher, first responder/nurse and military discounts if you mention it when purchasing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!! THANK YOU best time ever!

Ok, I get that this is going to be a tourist, price gouging place, but damn, $200 for two adult…read moretickets and one kid ticket is insane. The park could have at least been clean. Beer cans were everywhere and I myself had a beer or two but I'm not a turd and throw my trash away. However, the place was disgusting. The bathrooms were filthy and when I say filthy I mean shit was literally piling up in the toilets I nearly puked walking in. The food was garbage so plan to spend your hard earned money on garbage. Absolutely 100% not worth $300.

Obviously the farms can't help big developers taking all the land, but reviewer made it sound like these homes are all over the farm. We didn't see any homes while in the farm.
