From our first phone call to our 6 week postpartum check-up the entire team was caring and attentive and amazingly gracious given the obvious drama that comes with pregnancy. They are truly called to a beautiful service and their bedside manner and humanity with their mamas in unmatched; certainly not something that I believe one could find in a stuffy hospital setting. Because of the women at Sacred Birth we were able to welcome our beautiful baby boy safely and peacefully into the world in the comfort of our own home. I am high strung and a bit of a stress bucket and was especially through my pregnancy but the women with Sacred Birth went out of their way to bring me back down to earth when I needed, supported me every step of the way and truly saw me as another human being and mama to be and not just a patient on a flip chart. They didn't rush our labor at all and took great care to check on our baby boy after every push. We got a beautiful tour of the placenta and plenty of time for the rest of the blood from it to finish loading our baby boy with all of the iron and oxygen that he needed. No quick clamping and cutting with these ladies! I also love how involved my husband was able to be! He was at nearly every appointment and they included him in all of our discussions and answered all of the questions that he posed to them. They suggested reading material which we both benefited from tremendously and they really empowered us to be a birthing team in our own unique and intuitive way which we are now able to carry through into our parenting. I truly miss the entire team and honestly wish I was still able to see them every couple of weeks! I truly cannot say enough about this incredible team and if we end up having another little member of the family they will be the first call we make.

What I love most about her were that our appointments were never rushed, she was knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and she cared not only for my baby but for me as well. Not just my physical health but my mental and emotional well-being. She listened attentively at my fears and concerns, was a great shoulder to cry on and provided resources to help. Robin (Licensed Midwife) is super sweet, soft spoken, always has a natural remedy for little symptoms throughout the time. The receptionist, Kat, is ON IT and also super sweet every time you arrive and is super helpful with anything insurance/money/ documentation - and she genuinely has your back with all of that stuff. I was blessed with a (relatively speaking) easy pregnancy but Robin answered 2/2 of my late night SOS calls that I had during that time frame. And when I called thinking labor was starting she was ready to get there and support me, no hesitation, despite it being a seemingly fast timeline (and thank goodness she trusted me and was ready, because I was 8-9cm by the time I got there). I had one 30 minute virtual Telehealth session where they tell you what to expect, and I got a bill for $700! I could have gotten the exact same information from simply doing a Google search, and they gave the audacity to charge $700 for a Telehealth visit. I understand my insurance doesn't cover this, but $700 for a 30 minutes chat on basic information is absurd. Don't make the same mistake I did. Do your own research and decide if you want to freeze your eggs before ever going near a clinic. They aren't there to help you make an informed decision, they are there to make sure they get your money regardless of if they get your business or not. It is just a business profiting on peace of mind and hopes and dreams, after all.

They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

It was an incredibly redemptive experience for me as I had my first baby with an OB in the hospital and ended up in an emergency C-section after being induced and then pushing for 3 hours then getting a post op infect. Cassie, Jessica and Jay at Teamwork birthing were so calming, peaceful and encouraging that I could deliver naturally even as a VBAC. Ended up with the home birth of my dream with no pain meds needed, baby was out in 3 pushes and no tearing! They were so calming while still giving great resources and keeping you educated about what was going on. Truly felt seen as a person and cared for as an individual along with the health of my baby. As a bonus, they served a delicious breakfast and gave each of us a gift bag to take home! This is hands down the best class to take as a parent-to-be. They also offer other classes for after baby is born! These ladies are experts in their specialties and have tons of recommendations, based on their own personal and professional experiences. They would also contradict each other causing a lot of confusion. Anesthesiologist punctured my wife's spine and blamed her...another had to come and finish. What took the first provider five pokes in 30 minutes took the next one about 90 seconds. Clearly operator error. Very unprofessional. Due to this my wife had to have another procedure after giving birth to twins...he had severe back pain, was leaking spinal fluid and was have headache so debilitating she couldn't even get up to use the restroom. None of this is related to giving birth... all of it was related to the epidural and due to the incompetence of anesthesiologist. The only good doctor we experienced was the one who delivered our twins. She kept checking in with us, communicated a plan with us and was very positive. We were there for 5 days and only saw a doctor when we requested one about 2 hours before you were discharged. no one can answer our questions... The nurse has tried their best, but weren't getting much answers from the doctors above them. Again, shout out to the delivery unit, nursing staff, lead nurses, charge nurses and entire nicu staff. Oh! The food staff and cleaning staff was also very nice and did their job well. Doctors? 2/10 We considering contacting an attorney.

First, it is so cold in the maternity area that I had to get blankets to keep myself warm, as well as my son in law who was also freezing.My daughter was covered and she was cold, even being in labor! Secondly, when it was time for the baby to be born, the nurse told my daughter she would have to wait as the doctor was delivering another baby.....what???....another nurse grabbed the house phone and said that unless a doctor came to my daughter's room immediately, the nurse was going to deliver the baby. Two doctors showed up rather quickly. My grand daughter made her entrance into the world! The nurses were fantastic,patient, and spent a lot of time explaining what was going on with my daughter's labor. The hospital is clean and well maintained. Food was just okay. Breast feeding support seemed to be good. There was a lag in time when my daughter and her husband were told a room would be ready in the NICU (baby needed some blood work follow-up) would be ready in an hour. It took several hours.They were exhausted as my daughter had been in labor for quite some time and just wanted to get settled so they could rest a bit before bringing the baby home. Anyway, the little family is fine!
