However, being a recognisable brand name does not necessarily indicate that the service and food you receive will be quality. In the three HR branches I've visited, including this one, I've always ben disappointed.
This particular outlet is found in the Oasis food court in Meadowhall. As you're buying from world famous Harry ramsden, theres instantly a premium on the prices you pay. If you're like me, you wont mind paying for quality. Sadly though, with HR, you're NOT paying for quality. I have no idea what you're paying for, but the fact is you could get a 75p bag of chips from a local chippy and enjoy them far more than chips from here, where you'll pay around £2 for the pleasure.
Nothing tastes even halfway fresh, the chips are like eating McCain micro chips. I dont eat fish, but I'm told thats just as bad too.
Its typical of the brand, seemingly. People are seduced by the name because they think its a mark of quality. It isnt. Its just effective brand promotion. If you're in Meadowhall, there are any number of better places to get your food from, all of which will provide better value for money.
