I went to get my lips done and he ruined my lips. Really weird and awkward environment. The first time I went he messed up and left a lump in my lip, I didn't even wanna show anyone it was so embarrassing. So I went back and he tried to "fix" the lump but it ended up making them more messed up and crooked looking. I came for a consultation to get laser lipo for jawline contouring. Drove 45 minutes there to literally be rushed out in 5 minutes. The office is a converted house, so that caught me off guard. The receptionist was very nice, so I feel bad about the low rating for her sake, but Dr. Ray seemed to be in such a hurry.. kept asking if I had any questions in a rapid manner and I felt so rushed, I couldn't think of anything. Basically all he did was squeeze my neck, and say that he could do it. It also was a lot more costly than I was expecting. Dr Ray and his assistants have been an much more than I hoped for. I didn't like the last places I've gone in the last ten years. I have felt so disappointed and discouraged by this. They accept care credit for Botox! And they do NOT push all the products on you. Brazillian Butt Lift Prior to surgery They were patient with me until I was able to get a ride secured on surgery day They could not find their pain killers (Norco I believe)- they said they misplaced it, so I was left with aspirin only...this made me nervous and showed they were ill prepared For someone who has had three surgeries prior to this, two of which I had anesthesia - being nervous was new for me. During surgery Dr. Ray took thirty minutes to find my vein to start sedation, about five punctures later, my nervous system was in full effect causing my right leg to shake quite a bit Finally asleep, the surgery went ok except for ((waking up ))out of pain from the rod going in and out of my stomach for the liposuction; it was just awful. After surgery Recovery looked well Results were unfortunately minimal, he said he injected 600 cc but I could only see a subtle difference. I was shocked When I expressed concerns, he said it was because I wasn't a 100% off my butt (this was one month in). I told him I was about 95% if not 100% active in post-surgery recovery best practices because I wanted that butt so bad and the photos we were looking at the time was immediately after surgery where loss would not have taken place. So, my butt is nowhere close to where I thought it would be... I wasn't looking for a Hollywood butt, just a bump - one to at least to justify ten grand out the door. And after taking every measure of caution to maintain the little that was injected in my butt... The conclusion is: He is a misleading doctor that ultimately blames you even when you do everything right. I urge you to find a qualified doctor to do your lift and to not get scammed. read more

I just had a truly amazing and comfortable experience with Dr. Ray and his delightful assistant, Jamie. From the moment I walked in I was greeted immediately by Jamie, who then walked me through the process. She is very welcoming and kind, super easy to talk to and definitely puts you at ease. She actually helped settle my nerves when I was feeling hesitant. The office is super clean and modern looking. I was relaxed as soon as I walked in. They have spa music playing softly in the background so while you wait for your appointment you can zone out. Dr. Ray was fantastic. It was my first time doing botox and I had plenty of questions. He saw that I was nervous about a few things and he never once got impatient or rude. He has a terrific bedside manner. I was very impressed with his consultation. In December 2021 I received $2800 worth of Bellafill injections after Dr. Ray told me they would significantly reduce my nasolabial folds around my mouth. He said it could take up to six months for the desired full effect. Over the next six months I noticed absolutely NO difference! I went back to see Dr. Ray in June 2022 to show him that his product didn't work on me and he just got frustrated and refused to compensate me or refund any of my money. I disputed it but my bank couldn't refund it because apparently the paperwork I signed ( bout 10 pages ) there was a clause that said signing that paperwork meant they had the right to charge my card $750. I am gorgeous. I am blessed with a beautiful face. There is nothing wrong or ugly about me. (Yes, I have high self-esteem) I also had some sun damage and horizontal forehead wrinkles. In my opinion, having a few non-invasive procedures sounded like a good idea because I don't really care to wear makeup. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ray and his staff. I inquired about a consultation and got in the same week. There were a few options presented to me for what Dr. Ray recommended. I didn't feel like he was overly pushy and we just had a nice chat. I initially went in to discuss IPL and Botox since I had a lot of sun damage. I love my natural freckles so I was nervous about removing them. Dr. Ray reassured me that freckles are genetic and they would come back. Fraxel, which we determined was a better option for me, would remove the sun damage that was on top of my freckles. I thought I would have to come back for treatment but I was able to have the treatment done right then and there. Now, I know everyone is different, but the Fraxel hurt! It felt like a knife or ballpoint pen was being slashed across my face. There was numbing cream applied beforehand but for my sensitive skin, I needed to wait a full 30-45 minutes for the numbing cream to be more effective. The procedure only took a few minutes and then moisturizer was applied to my face along with a vacuum-like cooling tube blasting wonderful icy air onto my face. Afterward, I had a little bit of Botox applied to my forehead. Dr. Ray used a vibration tool to distract from the needle. The needle was slim and it was barely noticeable. From my perspective, eyebrow threading hurts 5x more than Botox. Fraxel hurt 3x more than eyebrow threading. The brown pigmentation immediately started rising to my skin's surface. After 4 days, every thing naturally brushed off. In the current age of Covid, wearing a mask distracted from any weird stares from strangers. I looked like I was in the garden and had a little dirt on my face. It wasn't swollen or super red. Since my treatment, I wear moisturizer, sunscreen on top of the moisturizer, and a super-fashionable wide-brim hat. It makes me feel like a lady. With cost, you get what you pay for. After chatting with other ladies and seeing prices online, I felt that Dr. Ray and staff charged market rate or below. For my particular treatments, and given the areas I had done, Fraxel ~$800, Botox ~$300. Follow-up was a breeze. I had to reschedule my appointment due to work meetings and they were flexible. Obviously, give as much notice as you can to be courteous. I went in for after pictures and for Dr. Ray to check on how my skin was doing. I will go back at the end of summer for another Fraxel treatment and most likely another maintenance round of Botox. Fraxel is usually 1-2 treatments where as IPL would have been 5-6 treatments for me. Maintaining beauty can be painful and overwhelming, especially if this is your first time. We are all human. I was very pleased with my results. I was very pleased how I was treated. I was satisfied with the cost. Therefore, Elite Medical Spa will receive 5 stars from me. read more

I just had the absolute worst experience. I went in for a consultation for a non-surgical nose job and the office isn't even open legitimate doctors office. They are operating out of a house with a cheap sign on the front. Everything inside it looks like a fake doctors office, like they are playing doctor. After filling out a questionnaire I waited in the procedure room for what I thought was my consultation with Dr. Ray, He came in the room and didn't explain anything to me. He was not welcoming he did not make me feel comfortable about any procedure, and then he proceeded to act like we were about to start the procedure. I left immediately. I was told on the phone that he had lots of experience with nonsurgical Nose jobs, but I have not seen a single image on the website, social media, or in his office showing any photos of before and after for this procedure. There are only images of poorly done lip injections. I would do a lot more research on facilities before choosing this one. Very disappointed. read more

I am a 52 yr old Airforce veteran living and working in the Roseville community. I have been married for 25 yrs and am a proud father. I volunteer extensively in the community and stay very active! I experienced some significant back injuries while serving in the Military and needed spinal fusion surgeries. It took me significant time to walk and heal. I was left with a large abdominal scar and some extra fat deposits in my stomach and lower back. I carefully watched my diet and exercised and could not reach a goal. I consulted with Dr Ray regarding liposuction. I scheduled the procedure and paid a $1,000 deposit. I also signed a contract. During the consult I clearly explained to the Dr that I have suffered from Vasovagal syncope (passing out) during procedures. I actually mentioned this a number of times. I believe it has to do with anxiety. I arrived on procedure day, changed and the procedure started. The Dr barely had an opportunity to install an IV line when I felt light headed. I knew I was going to pass out and warned the Dr. The Dr called 911 and panicked. He actually shared that he performed heart massage to keep me alive which is not possible or true. We believe he meant to say CPR. The paramedics were confused. They asked the Dr for the information tape from his heart monitor. He could not provide. The procedure did not last for more than 5 minutes. The Dr did not do any liposuction. He injected a numbing agent into one area. The paramedics were also confused as to why the Dr would not have an AED. Automated external difibulator. These are common Place in public high schools. One would think a Dr performing procedures would be safely equipped. Regardless I was checked into a local ER. The ER doctor ran blood tests showing there was no evidence of a heart attack or large cardiac event. I was transported to a large care unit in Sacramento for observation. Same diagnostic result. No heart attack, just passed out. The ambulance ride and resulting medical bills added up to over $12,000. The following week I attempted to follow up with the Dr to see if I have any other options for the procedure. The Dr avoids communication and scheduled an appointment the following week. My wife joins us in the appointment. The Dr basically clearly communicates that he saved my life and that I owe him a debt of gratitude. He then charged my credit cards for services he didn't complete which is fraud. He shared his contract with me. He was rude and aggressive. I was willing to forgo my $1,000 deposit. He said I owed him for the stress of the ordeal. This person lacks compassion and basic business acumen. I filed a claim with the credit card company. The balance of the bill was not paid as the Dr did not perform the service. He is now attempting to collect by hiding behind disclaimers in contracts . I now have to secure legal counsel to stop this fraudulent strong arming. I have seen positive reviews on the Dr mostly from Botox procedures which may be his expertise. But i now have to wonder if the Dr embellished my passing out in an effort to avoid the work and collect money. It feels like a cash grab. I will be reporting him to the State medical board as well as the other appropriate regulatory people. Avoid this man at all costs with regard to liposuction or any robust procedure. This was probably one of the worst experiences i've ever had with a medical professional. Me and my sisters all went together to get lip fillers done by Dr Ray. Out of my two sisters i was the last to go. My sisters were very particular and vocal about what they wanted during their consultations and wouldn't let the doctor do "what he wanted" which is understandable. During my consultation i had communicated with him what i wanted and he ensured me that he would give me the look i desired. He told me to let him take care of it and not be too vocal about my opinions like my sisters were. I agreed as he was a medical professional and I believed he would likely try to do his best job. my lips were quite plump right after the procedure however, within just 2 days my lips went completely back to normal, there was almost no difference at all. I emailed the facility and they first told me that they will take it under review however they began to be very unprofessional. They didn't get back to me in over a week and when I kept emailing them they began to completely disregard my complaints and completely ignored me. They only sent me a very unproductive email once I sent a very angry message. The doctor was clearly unhappy working with my sisters because they took charge in what they wanted. I, on the other hand, allowed him to take charge and he ended up not using the full syringe which I payed for. I feel completely scammed since I basically payed all that money only to have the exact same lip size. He also kept contradicting himself during the consultations. One of my friends who decided to just tag along was unsure of getting a lip botox done (lip flip). Dr. Ray encouraged her saying they're very temporary and can have just as good results lip fillers. Once she decided to do it, he began saying that this is not enough and that she should do lip fillers. I just find this very weird as it seems like he simply just wants the money out of the patients rather than actually focusing on patient satisfaction. this behaviour is extremely inappropriate for a medical professional and I would not recommend anyone going here unless they want to be tricked. read more

Dr Ray is great. This is a new medical practice with one doctor who has many years of experience including working ER and doing wound care. He worked in the UK before coming to the US. He is very tech savvy and uses electronic medical records. I saw him last week for a chest cold that turned out to be pneumonia. I found out he also started doing cosmetic medicine, so I returned to try out the derma abrasions machine. Talk about full service. This doctor is building a patient-centric medical practice with one stop shopping conveniently located off Granite Drive in Rocklin near the I80 exit.
