The gym appears to be stocked with plenty of various equipment pieces to work all the major body areas, both in cardio mode and in more controlled stages. All the equipment looks to be in good condition and looked after. All the small equipment is put in their respective places, well marked on the wall and/or shelve to help new volunteers find the correct spot. The service by the front counter staff is always friendly, even if somewhat harried at times by the comings and goings of patients at the same time. The two main physios I have been treated by (Floyde and Mark Johnson) have been knowledgable; competent; always keeping you informed of what they were doing; why they were doing it; and what they hope to achieve at the end of the session. They make sure you understand what's expected of you and how you are to accomplish them between sessions as well. They answer questions about your condition and will retrieve reports from the hospital for you as long as appropriate signatures have been obtained. They will, if required, speak to outside parties on your behalf (workplace, health insurance companies, health system including doctors and specialists). They follow up their treatments from one session to the next, making sure all the black and blue bruising has had a good chance to disappear (just teasing on that last statement for the most part). I know the other physios are just as competent as I've knowingly had them at one time or another as a last minute change. They listen to me as I may have to explain my chronic pain disorder and how it affects me in various ways and in their treatment of me. The clinic is busy for a reason--the employees are devoted, committed (one should be for the jokes), kept up-to-date as per their professional association requirements, and are good at what they do, hence patients prefer to be referred to this clinic. This is a great, caring and compassionate physiotherapy clinic that has its own gym to work with many different muscle groups, strengthen the core, and retrain misfiring nerves, etc.; private cubicles, each with medical beds for the patient , and other equipment necessary for physiotherapists to work on and educate patients with all sorts of medical problems; and a large open work area for staff who's attentive to scheduling needs; remembers all the patients' names even outside the clinic environment; does all the administrative work; generally helps just helps the clients when they first arrive; and helps the client around.
