Oh man! Let me say, I lucked out picking ECM as the first place to try in Greenville! I've had…read moremassages all over (all over US, Cambodia) and this one ranks as one of my favorite! Let me tell you why... Shon. That's why. Her style is a bit different than what you may think of as traditional massage insomuch as she uses her feet. I want to emphasize that if you like pressure, that's the best thing you could want! First, I know what some of you may be thinking. But she sanitized her feet before, sanitized me, and then put the oils. Very clean process. Then when it was time for the massage...wow! It was deep tissue alright, and it was better deep tissue than I've ever had. Her contact was firm (what I asked for) and controlled. She was working out knots and getting deep into some pressure points. Can't stress enough how good it was. It was an easy decision to make ECM the place to go and Shon to be who I go to. I typically get a massage every other month and was excited to check this place out in Washington. Located on Market Street, the space is calming, quaint, and very clean. Each client receives completely personal attention during their appointment as there is only one massage room. Angie was very sweet, making sure I was comfortable with the amount of pressure. I prefer not to talk during a massage, and she very politely allowed me to relax and enjoy without being chatty. She did great work on my back and neck and definitely relieved some tension that I'd been carrying around. I also had some soreness in my legs from running and when I left they felt so much better. Best of all, the pricing is incredibly reasonable; for an hour, it was $70. My "go-to" in Raleigh is nowhere near as good and is way more expensive. I never heard of this place but since it was in the area it didn't hurt to see what it was about right ? I booked my appointment online which was for the next following day. I arrived at the address and the place is inside a building that has different suites/ offices. I arrived at the specified numbered suite and a young really nice lady named Tijohna greeted me and verified my appointment. She is the owner of JoeJo Pina Therapeutic Massage Center and she was very sweet, welcoming, and friendly. She asked me to fill out an intake form which would let her know what parts of my body that I needed worked on and which parts I didn't want to be massaged/ messed with. It was very detailed and I really liked that because it shows that she's very attentive to the wants and needs of your body. Even though I was there for a foot spa/massage the intake from would be used for future visits that way they would already have my info saved. When I finished the intake from her masseuse Kirsh came in and introduced himself and said that he was going to be taking care of me. He was very kind and I could tell he was very professional and knew what he was doing. Tijohna then left the room and Kirsh explained what he would be doing and asked me if there were areas on my foot/ leg that I wanted him to pay more attention to. He was very thorough and professional. He dimmed the lights and put on some nice calm relaxing music and let's just say 10 minutes in I fell asleep. I know rightttt !! Don't laugh but that goes to show you how amazing the foot massaging/ spa was !! His hands were very good. He had great massaging pressure and asked me whether I wanted a deep, moderate or light massage. I was so relaxed and overall it was an amazing experience. WIll I be back ? 100% you bet I will. Tijohna just opened her own Therapeutic Massage Center and I wish her, Kirsh and whoever joins her center so much success. The customer service and experience was amazing. Definitely check it out !!

Not only did she seem very knowledgeable but she was very easy to talk with and listened to all my questions and concerns leading me to believe it would be a positive experience and truthfully it was nothing less i could tell by her work she knew what she was doing and i felt by the time it was over that she worked all the spots i felt could use attention and some i wasnt even aware of leading me to want to rebook so to anyone questioning if they should and hesitant due to lack of reviews i would encourage you to give her a chance!
