Living locally to Jimmy Wok within the Hadley area, i have the delight of easily being able to personally walk to order my food and continuously recieve wonderful customer service from the staff at the business.  All the staff at Jimmy wok are incredibily friendly, polite and very funny, and before i know it my food is done and ready to go. However if under circumstances that a delivery is more efficient for the occasion, no matter the size of the order there is no more than a small £2 charge. This is most certainly worth it as there is a sincere garantuee of how long the food will be in getting to you, and in my experiance it has always been very fast! In conclusion to this review on the Jimmy Wok Take Away, after many years of regular eating from this well established Cantonese & English Take Away. They have now even advanced to the age of online ordering, and after experimenting with this for myself the service has been just as effective as ever! I don't know of a better Take Away, that take such pride in preparing, cooking and delivering their meals. Therefore that is why, if you live within the Telford area, you must try Jimmy Wok!

All of the food is excellent and I can highly recommend the hot and sour soup (guaranteed to shift a cold), the wun tun soup, aromatic duck (the quintessential Cantonese dish but just as good here as a restaurant in town) and classics sweet and sour Cantonese style or king prawn kung po. Soups are around £2, duck is £7 and mains are around £5. They have some very reasonable set menus. The waiting are is lovely, much nicer than most takeaway places. Among the vegetarian dishes ( the menu is written 'vegrtarian dishes' and has several other funny mistakes), my favorite is the fried green peppers in sweet and sour sauce - a classic, but they make it really good. The mushroom curry are also delicious and the chips, like most Chinese take-away chips (not sure why) are very tasty. Another good thing is that the minimum for delivery is only a fiver (generally tends to be £10). The drink menu is a bit lacking (Coke!) but if you happen to make an order for more than £25, you get a bottle of Coke for free. It's not a groundbreaking menu or dazzling food but it is a good, cheap, standard Chinese takeaway.
