We are new to the area and trying to find our new go-to restaurants. New Great Wall QUICKLY became a favorite! The staff is friendly and kind, and their food is TOP NOTCH! Chicken is juicy and delicious and the crab Rangoon is possibly the best we have ever had! Don't sleep on this place! Definitely try it out! We haven't found anything we don't love yet! Egg rolls smelled and tasted OLD, chicken Lomein was tasteless and chicken for that and chicken broccoli was chewy and unable to eat, the broccoli was not cooked done like I asked, Won ton soup was a yellow broth and tasted watery without any flavor to won tons, and chicken fried rice was white didn't even looked or taste like it was fried. I have eaten Chinese food for years and have NEVER tasted anything like this. We paid over $50 for our food coming from out of town and the best thing was warm pop. They need to use fresh food. Service was not good because we came into restaurant and it took over 5min to get service because the woman was conversing with cook and no one else was in the restaurant. New Great Wall is the best Chinese in Beavercreek. It's a family run place. The inside isn't pretty but it's not the worst. Prices are okay. There's good options for vegetarians. Inside it looks kind of dumpy. It gets most business from takeout, so it's no surprise they don't put much work into making it look better. The seats were comfortable and the tables were clean. Also they had pretty clean bathrooms. The menu is what you would expect from a place like this. It has many Chinese favorites. The prices are pretty good, and portions are big too. I had the sesame bean curd. It's about $8 for the lunch portion. This came with lots of sesame seed covered sweet tofu. Overall this is pretty okay. Prices are good. Only giving three stars because I think it is a family restaurant. I think all the food came from a can. How do you not serve good Hot-and-Sour soup? It tasted like iron. Many large orders and only one small serving of white rice? Went to get the Soy Sauce, out of town trip, only three left. I asked for more and they gave me three more. While staying at an AirBnB, we decided to get take-out from this little gem. It has your standard Chinese restaurant fair, but they were super friendly and made our to-go order (for a family of 4) really fast! It was hot and delicious! The place itself was clean and neat and there was plenty of parking. It's easy to see from the road, so even new in town, we didn't get lost finding it. I'm my opinion this is the beast Chinese food in Beavercreek! Family owned and operated! They are very consistent with their food, and I never notice a change in the way their food tastes. Fried rice is always perfect, and the sweet and sour chicken is always cooked so well. I have never had anyone ever complain about their food whenever I have taken them there. I had lunch at The New Great Wall and it was realy good. The food was very fresh and delicious. I have tried many other restaurants in the Beavercreek area and I like the food here the best. This was my third trip to the new great Wall and all three meals were equally great. The Mongolian beef was cooked just right and the meat was awesome. I've lived in California and Houston, TX where Asian food is on every corner and New Great Wall ranks right up there with the best Chinese food I've ever had. I have ordered the Sesame beef multiple times, both the lunch special and larger dinner/take out portions, and it is always crispy, hot, and fresh - it tastes like I'm eating a home cooked meal rather than mass produced restaurant food. I always order the hot and sour soup and crab rangoons with my meal as well, definite must haves. We loved the beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken also and cant wait to try the rest of the menu.
