She was immensely helpful and was definitely one of the least things I had to worry about in the last two weeks before the wedding. She met with me to discuss the particulars of the day and she took it from there. On the actual day, she was prompt and on time and immediately started shooting the process of everyone getting ready. We had a great pre-ceremony first-look shot and even though it was freezing cold outside she kept us laughing and having a good time. I hardly noticed that she was there which was great because she ended up getting some amazing candid shots. I wish we had booked her for longer for all of the reception! I was AMAZED at how fast she got our photos back to us after the wedding. So many wedding photographers take weeks or months to get photos back but we had our first preview shots (via Facebook) in a week. The next week she had them all on her website for us to view and a week after that a DVD came in the mail with all the shots on them. (The DVD came in an adorable case with one of our shots on them, too, plus the date) She sent us a thank-you card too. We were so pleased with the photos and how fast they were returned to us. Julie was pleasant and very easy to work with and really made the big day calmer because she took care of all the "prop shots" (rings, etc) without bugging anybody. Definitely recommended!

There were so many shot-of-a-lifetime senior photos that we couldn't choose, and fortunately she makes them all available to her clients digitally, so we didn't have to. We requested a slightly off-the-beaten-path approach to my teenage daughter's senior pictures, and Treva had so many ideas of how to feature that location and vibe- the resulting senior portraits were a thrill and will be treasured. Beyond her obvious skill level as a portrait photographer, Treva has what can't be taught: she is able to make her portrait subjects at ease- even the camera shy. She was so encouraging without making a "big deal" out of it, that my teen immediately got comfortable and was willing to try anything Treva presented to her. When the digital proofs cam out, my very private teenage daughter was simply aglow. Any time she looks at the photos, she still sparkles, and that's a great gift to her mama. Senior photos can be another big expense during your student's final year of high school, and we appreciated Treva's affordability, though you might want to get in fast before the whole world finds out... she does family portraits, pet portraits, and much more, so definitely check out her website. She took the time to demonstrate poses and faces, which made the process less intimidating and was much more helpful than just telling me what to do. Jessica was meticulous with my hair and make-up, kept me laughing and happily laid on the floor to make sure the fan was blowing my hair at exactly the right angle. These girls are like beauty treasure hunters - they are set on discovering your beauty and they are really genuinely pleased when they find and capture it. Nothing felt rushed and they worked very hard to make sure I was comfortable and happy. And the pictures themselves? I was nervous that I'd end up looking overdone or lovely but not like myself. It turned out that the photos were stunning - they look gorgeous AND they actually look like ME!
