Church members are friendly. Praise & Worship Team (& mini-choir) sing up to date songs; sometimes a little lengthy, but you can't quench the spirit, so LET IT FLOW. Church members place money at the feet of the pastor while he preaches, I find this to be a distraction, but hey, thats they way they do it. Tithes are walked up to the front during offering period. And THEN the offering basket is passed. Seems like a duplication of efforts to me, but hey, once again 'that's they way they do it'. Nice on-site bookstore. Parking is a limited. More members than parking spaces. Parking on the grass appears to be the norm. Church is TIMELY & fulfilling. are you serious?…read more this is St Luke's church that was built sometime in the early '80s and there are NO reviews on yelp? htm, i used to go to mass in saint paul gymnasium at pope john paul high school when father hall presented mass, very early eighties, before saint lukes opened. there is a lot to say of the types of people that attend mass now as opposed to when it first opened back then. it is tragic now because there are more types of 'cliques' and color wearing shirts (not skin color) with a strange mentality guiding one's own way, and not the way mass is intended. you have to see it in the people that attend to understand it. i still go to mass here, but it most certainly has changed in the last 36 years or so. thank god for the youth, and even though saint margaret of mary has changed somewhat also in its years, holy very much is present there, even with the same problems of color coded shirts guiding one's way. well, htm. thank god for the youth here, all I'm saying.
