While waiting, there was great banter and conversation going on with everyone, and it felt more like a family get together than waiting for a haircut. I gave the barber discretion and asked him to cut it any way he liked. My uncle owned a shop for more than 50 years and when he was allowed to be creative with a customer it was usually his best work. It all grows back and I am up for creativity. The haircut turned out great and I was very pleased with it. Payment accepted: Cash only. Robins Financial Credit Union is right out the front door and you can grab cash from the ATM if needed.

The chemicals in a perm cause my hair to break off on the rods. My hair is already thin. It is extremely thin and and very fine. My perms often don't take and are back straight as a stick within the week. I am 70 years old and this has been a life long struggle. I decided to get another perm. Which after getting in touch with Wendie at "More Good Hair Days Salon" I decided to entrust to her. She knew the history of my hair. Not because she had done it before but because we discussed it. She listened, truly listened. Then Praise God Wendie gave me the best perm I can remember! It is soft, not brittle. It is curly not straight. The hair cut is modern, stylish and great. She cut it so I can wear it several different ways. She showed me how to style it with a blow dryer. Or I can leave it curly, apply some product (I got from her) and it looks terrific. There were 4 ladies, all busy so I had to wait I came as a walk in. I didn't wait to long they were getting done with two of the ladies. So I sat down for a Pedi. It was so quiet there you can hear yourself think. The TV is broken but they should at least put on a radio or music. I got the $40 pedi with nail color French tip. She did a good job! Really clean my nails really good. Massage my feet with sea salt kinda rough. Lol
