Just a friendly warning-…read more WARNING TO HOMEOWNERS In September of 2025, my husband and I hired a company called Pro-Tech Chip and Seal (phone number: 888-695-8824), supposedly located in Bowling Green, KY, to chip and seal our driveway. We paid this company $4,500.00 and still have both the receipt and canceled check as proof of payment. We were specifically assured that the driveway would hold up and would not wash out. Unfortunately, that was not true. As the photos clearly show, the driveway has badly deteriorated and washed away. My husband repeatedly attempted to contact this company to have the issue corrected, but they would not return his calls. I later called from a different phone number pretending to inquire about their services, and the so-called owner, "Jim Sherlock," immediately returned the call. Once I handed the phone to my husband, the man was caught red-handed avoiding us. He promised he would call back and arrange a time to inspect and repair the driveway, that never happened. After researching further, I discovered there are complaints from other people as well. I also attempted to contact them through Facebook, and instead of addressing the problem, they blocked me. At this point, I feel it's important to warn others before they lose their hard-earned money. Please do your homework before hiring this company. We would hate to see another family go through the same experience. If anyone else has had dealings with this company, feel free to message me.
