He completed these jobs well. However, after these jobs were done, he left a vine which went from the ground to the gutter on the left wall of my house and many sticks on the ground around the bushes that he trimmed. In addition, he didn't take the photos of the right side/wall of my house to show my home insurance company. I asked him to come back to do these tasks. He promised me many times but he didn't come back to my house as promised. Recently, in June 2025, I offered him a lawnmowing job and a small job of installing an electric outlet wall plate in my back porch. That way, he could take care of all the April 23 unfinished jobs when he did the lawnmowing job and installing the electric outlet wall plate. However, he didn't show up on the day of the job (June 22) after confirming with me by text message on June 22. In addition, he has stopped all communications with me since that day although I have sent him several text messages and called him a few times. Two days ago, on July 2, I found out that the photos he shared with me in a folder on iCloud.com to show proof of his jobs done at my house on April 23 were not accessible anymore. I am not allowed to view these photos anymore. This creates a serious problem for me because I sent the folder that contained these photos to my insurance company many weeks ago. Now, they couldn't view these photos anymore. I sent him some messages to ask him to allow me to access these photos again but he has ignored my messages. I am very frustrated with this situation. This contractor's behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unreliable to me.

In addition, my husband and I had a little bit of an emergency situation on our hands due to an impending heat wave, and needed to figure out a solve for our problem quickly. (This I know, was our bad in not preparing better. We take full responsibility!) I put out a request on Yelp on a Wednesday afternoon to all listed handyperson services and emailed another 6 or so companies listed on Google. Most of companies I pinged did not respond at all, and the smattering that did said they were booked through October. Thank my lucky stars, though, Joe called me back within the hour and said he'd come by between 4:30 and 5pm to take a look-WHICH HE DID! Off to a good start and it just kept getting better! I walked him through the challenge at hand: we needed to install an air conditioner in our garage, but we only had one janky window to work with that didn't fit the most narrow window unit, a standup unit didn't cool the space, and we didn't really want to lose use of the window entirely. Joe jumped right in and suggested a quick, flexible, and affordable solution: build an insulated window box so we can easily install and remove the AC seasonally and maintain the insulation that we need during the colder months. Genius! Not only was his idea a good one that checked all boxes, he presented his ideas clearly, answered all my questions thoroughly, and didn't pander to my very unimpressive knowledge of construction in general. Joe sent me an estimate via email the next morning, I approved it immediately, he showed up to do the work that very afternoon, and he was finished with the work by 5pm! MAGIC. He completed the work swiftly, rigorously, efficiently, and cleanly. The AC box is secure, accurately placed based on expectation, and perfectly fits a classic AC window unit. To fix it , I said no way it's under warranty you have to fix it, after that it all began with the lies to get out of repairing it by saying he went out of business when I told him he was a liar he said he was going through a bad divorce and he was filing for chapter 11 all of these lies to get out of doing what he promised to fix and the worst of it I had someone call to get a price for a driveway and they said when would like it done, how's that for someone who is out of business.
