New look in WGC is always busy. The store is quite small but offers a good range of fashion basics as well as high fashion items. There is a shoe section and also a wide range of gifts as well as underwear and acessories. read more

The staff here are very chatty and helpfull, make you feel like you can just walk round and look and not have staff on your case. The shop looks very colourful and good selection in different colours and all set out very well. I brought four items and just came under £13.00 and this is for my holiday, and includes 2 tops and 2 bottoms. It is well worth the money. Lets hope that this shop does not close down.

What your mother never told you: free coffee! plus chairs and magazines to plonk your boyfriend on while you browse. Love it!

Ah The Galleria, a staple of my miss-spent youth. The shops here are average to pretty rubbish…read more(though they do have a massive Waterstones) and you'll only get one or two of the big name high street places. I never really went shopping here because, while it has a fair number of shops, it never really has anything that you want or need. Guess that could be just me. The cinema is where I spent most of my days, chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and watching some films after school. The cinema is average price with student discount and with your standard of sugary rubbish to enjoy while watching a film. The cinema screens themselves are good, the Digital screen is awesome, but the chairs and leg room leave something to be desired. It can get quite uncomfortable if you're a tall and are in a packed screening, but this rarely happens here, which is a other bonus. All in all a good place to while a way a fair number of hours with friends or that special someone.
I had seen the Galleria so many times from the road, passing under it, and been curious. Was really…read morelooking forward to visiting it but it is a souless place. Although it looks huge it takes hardly any time to go around and has nothing to recommend it in the way of differnt shops. They are the same as any high street. A large open area in the centre was laid out as a furniture vendoes. The stuff was ugly..even tasteless..and overpriced. Quite a few restaurants..untried but mostly the usual chains. The only saving grace, for me, was a pleasant cinema complex where we went to see Stardust. So much anticipation..such a disappointment.
I may have mentioned my Tallulah Bankhead fixation before or at least mentioned the feeling…read moregenerated from a 1920's cigarette holder. I haven't had one for a while and when I ended up in Trimbles today, I was on a hunt. A hunt for glamour. A hunt for a holder. Trimbles sold 4 different holders, different lengths and at different price ranges. There was a short black one, a long black one, a black and white one and an extending gold one. The woman took the gold one out of the package to show me and it was love at first psuedo-puff. Trimbles' 1920's holders range from 99p to 2.75. You can also get fake cigarettes to go with it. I do not want to encourage smoking, strangely enough so I passed. The staff was so helpful and the woman went to the back room to find me more holders. I had a demonstration of each one and she broke the packaging as I mentioned before, to show me. You can also rent costumes from this shop including a Marilyn train peekaboo panties one. Y'know what I mean..white. There are also tap shoes to buy and wigs. I love this shop. Come here and buy a holder..we'll start a fashion trend. Get Sienna on board and we are set!
Moist has been one of my favourite shops for a long time…read more A funky punky outfitter, with lots of retro dresses and skater tees. I still regret not buying a green T-Shirt a few months ago which said "GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE." My last visit I brought a white skinny vest top decorated with pink hearts. It was priced at £9.99, and as they are currently doing a promotion I received 30% off! That's the kind of maths I like to do! You can also get chunky jumpers, comfy jeans, hats, wallets and bags. The pay desk is a glass jewellery display counter full of accessoires. I spotted hand made necklaces priced £3-£10. You have to be very well disciplined not to pick out an extra treat for yourself!
A good shop if you like your 'skater-style' brands but it is generally pretty expensive! In fact, a…read morelot of the brands are stocked in TK Maxx (also at the Galleria) and are often cheaper. I would definitely refrain from purchasing anything here before you have checked out the prices at TK Maxx first! Also if I remember correctly, I don't think you can get your money back if you simply change your mind about an item. I think store credit is the only option in this situation so buy carefully!
