And, thank the good Lord, we SMARTLY had purchased an extended warranty through LOWE'S at the time of our purchase. I called Lowe's for a warranty repair and suggested they use C&C Appliance Service to come perform any maintenance necessary. I asked for C&C by name and they located the company and approved my request. Jason Horton had been called out on a Whirlpool Gas Stove that we had about a month and was still under warranty. It was getting so hot to touch; he pulled it out from the wall and removed the back. Jason discovered the stove had absolutely ZERO insulation, then declared it unsafe for use. I contacted Whirlpool who then revealed it was on a new recall list! I then called LOWE'S where we purchased it and had them pick it up and give me full credit. Jason had said the sides were so hot, a fire hazard existed as it was between and below wooden cabinets. We now have another brand of stove working just fine!
