Not beautiful, but a fantastic dessert, like a hot and savory bread pudding. I'd like to contrast this entire meal with Halle aux Grains. No dish was pretty to look at here; in fact, some of the dishes might even be considered ugly. But every bite burst and dazzled with complexity and deep flavor - a pleasure from bite to bite.
