Went on a Friday at 7pm and it was packed! There were 4 of us in our party and we managed to still get seats without any wait. Appetizers- Shrimp Spring Roll: it was pretty good actually. The stand out for me was the peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious. Overall, 8/10. Entrees: got the crab fried rice to share. The flavor was really good. I had an amazing time at dinner here with a friend. The menu is super vegan friendly, I opted for the vegetarian pad thai and asked for no egg. Our waiter was so adorably nice, and when he brought out some chiles and spicy sauce before our food he even made sure to let me know there was no fish sauce in any of the sauces. The food was amazing, very flavorful and had a good ratio of noodles to protein to veggies. The dish on its own was not really spicy at all even though I think it was supposed to be, but you can add your own spice. The interior has a lot of cool artwork and there are television screens showing scenes of Thailand, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I were craving Thai food while we were out in the city and we wanted something that was a little more relaxed so we tried this spot! I'm glad we did because it's so close to the pier, we walked from one of the parking structures and it was the perfect distance before and after a meal! Especially if you're going to be walking around the pier for a bit. The service was great too! When my boyfriend and I went we were sat fairly quickly and didn't have to flag them down besides getting the check. We came during their dinner rush and they get so many door dash orders! It makes me happy to see local business' thriving and serving their community! It was awesome. The ambiance is nice too! They have multiple TVs and one of them was playing jojos bizarre adventure which was hilarious because it's my boyfriend's favorite show! We were definitely entertained. I also had the pumpkin curry, which was good and came with rice which I appreciate as most of the time, the rice is not included. It wasn't the best pumpkin curry I've ever had, but it was good. The pad see ew was good as well, though nothing particularly memorable. The fried rice, however, felt a bit too oily for my taste. Good food and excellent service. Almost anything can be made vegetarian and they don't just put fried vegetables they also have tofu with most options. The fried roti was excellent - crispy and chewy while not being too oily. I liked the red curry too - only warning is that this place is actually spicy! So if they tell you it's spicy be prepared! The artwork on the walls are really nice and there's lots of cute elephant artwork/statues scattered across the restaurant. And service-wise it's among the best I've been to. Maybe one of the best I've ever had. Thai iced tea- includes a frozen Thai tea cream bear in it. Adorable! I've never had a Thai tea I didn't like. Green curry- perfectly spicy and rich. No complaints there! Service was clear and friendly. Prices were great especially for being in SF near the wharf. 33$ with tax. If multiple customers complain--two times, three times, or even more--that the food is way too sweet, a normal and professional response from a restaurant should be very simple: You acknowledge the feedback. You talk to the chef. You offer to adjust the dish, remake it, or at least provide an alternative or a refund. That is basic hospitality. That is how restaurants improve and survive long-term. Unfortunately, that was not what happened here. The manager was extremely rigid and dismissive. His only response was that their ingredients are "standard" and therefore cannot be changed. But let me be very clear: who decides what "standard" means--the chef, or the customers who are paying? Customers are the ones paying the bill. Not the chef. Not the manager. When multiple customers are saying the same thing--that the food is overly sweet--the correct reaction is to listen and adapt, not to argue and shut people down. Refusing to adjust or even acknowledge repeated feedback shows a complete lack of customer-oriented thinking. If this restaurant wants to build a loyal customer base and last long-term, this kind of attitude is unacceptable. Frankly, the owner should seriously reconsider this management choice. One bad manager can ruin an otherwise decent restaurant--he becomes the "rotten element" that drives customers away. As long as this manager is still here, I will not be coming back. And I hope the owner sees this review and understands that the issue is not the food alone--it's the attitude. read more

Awesome Thai spot close to Pier 39! We came here for lunch and had amazing food and service. The Curry Puffs were real standouts and the plum sauce it came with was bomb. We also enjoyed the Pad See Ew which came with real Chinese Broccoli so I was happy to see that be the veg of choice. Many of their items were able to be veganized which was great. Had a surprisingly good experience here! The Guay Tiaw Lord Noodles were delicious and full of protein - once I added more chili sauce and flakes to it, it was adequately spicy .
