Disappointed with the lack of accountability I came to New Vision Auto Glass Plus Tint in June 2022 to replace the windshield on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The installation was great but out of nowhere this November 2024 I noticed the glass cracked. The car had been parked for months, no impact, no rock chips, no accidents. It just split on its own. I brought it back to the shop today 07/07/2025 with my invoice, as requested. I even spoke directly to the owner, who told me he's been doing glass work for over 20 years and had "never seen anything like that." Yet, despite admitting he had no explanation for the crack, he said it wouldn't be covered under the lifetime warranty, because that only applies to the seal not the glass itself. When I asked if he could help out in any way or give a fair discount (we originally paid $305), he told us the new price would be more due to "times changing," but offered us a so-called deal for $295--a whole $10 less than we paid three years ago. He also noted the new glass would be $315 so it had only gone up $10 from 3 years ago. For a windshield that just spontaneously cracked with no outside cause. This was clearly a faulty piece of glass or a poor-quality product. And the fact that the business was unwilling to take any real responsibility or offer meaningful help is extremely disappointing. I expected better customer service and accountability from a place with such high ratings. I wouldn't return here or recommend them based on this experience. read more

Long time coming! Back in July, we had our 2002 corvette and our 1998 dually truck windshields both done by New Vision, and these folks are the best! We got a huge amount of red herrings and false starts when trying to work this through our insurance. Lizz at New Vision bent over backward to try to satisfy what we needed and correct what we were being told by the insurance company. She returned calls, made calls out, kept in touch with us throughout trying to satisfy the insurance carrier. Ultimately, New Vision figured that they weren't going to be able to do the work for us because our insurance wouldn't work with them, but with all the time, effort, and honesty that they provided us without us even being clients yet, we still knew they were who we wanted to work with. They did the jobs for us, and the tasks weren't easy because a lot of water damage, like rust, was discovered under weather stripping. But they cleaned it up, and made the vehicles like new. After everything was finished, Ricardo (great guy who, along with Lizz, really went the distance for this job) spent a little time with us talking over the job and their honest desire to make sure we were completely pleased with the work performed. Liz was extremely responsive in the Yelp app. She answered all my questions and was personable. While she wasn't the absolute lowest price (you get what you pay for), she was not the highest. She was local to me so I chose her shop. The vehicle was completed in the 2-1/2 hour time estimate and it came out great. They put stickers on the window switches to remind you not to open the windows for 3-5 days while the tint sets. Lizz was awesome to work with. She's very responsive via Yelp. I needed removal of my previous car tinting from a decade+ ago and a fresh tint all around. They also noticed some chips on my windshield that they recommended getting fixed, so I got it all done same day! The employee who worked on on my car didn't bother letting anyone know the battery had died or is dying which caused all the lights to go off and didn't reset it so we stayed longer after hours so another team member could fix it. That was the only concern from this experience. Otherwise, the tint has dried nicely and windshield chips haven't been giving me any issues. A few weeks ago I contacted New Vision on Yelp with some questions and Lizz (Owner) responded in next to no time with the answers to my questions. So a few days later after work I drove in and met Ricardo who went over everything from the window tint that is not 3M and not Ceramic to the 3M Ceramic tint. The light box that they have on display shows the difference between the different films and based on the light box they have the clear winner is the ceramic tint. So after Ricardo gave me the price I asked if it was possible they could do it right then and there. Since there was less than two hours until close I did not think he would say they could do it. I was mistaken and he got right on it with two other guys. They had my car completely tinted in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The guys were all very nice and professional, they seemed to work well together. After letting the tint dry for more than a week and giving the car a wash today I will say the quality of work these guys did was very good. The only issue I have and not an issue of New Vision is that the 20% I went with is to dark in the evening. I should have went with 35%. Being over 50 years old it is a little more difficult to see out the windows in the evening hours. When I was a teenager I used to go with limo tint with no issues but my eyes are not as they used to be. What I am saying here is if you are at least half way to a hundred to think hard on how dark you would like your windows to be. I included a few photos of the work New Vison did and I hope you can agree it is a really good job. Another thing that I liked doing was giving my business to a woman owned company. I had a pretty bad crack on my windshield. It was more than a rock chip as I basically saw what looks like a bubble, meaning the crack penetrated thru part of the glass. Once I actually got my car (I was looking for tints because my car was being delivered) I contacted Lizz back. I asked her more questions and she quickly responded. I made an appointment within the same week. Once I got there she was telling me about the different types of tints and what would be best for my needs. She kept telling me to take my time and think it through (which I appreciate so much). She then showed me other cars in the lot that they tinted (businesses near by) and was explaining the different tint percentages. My fear was not being able to see out the window if I got a dark tint. I went with 5% CXP on the back windows and a little bit lighter on the front two windows. A couple of weeks ago I decided to get the windows on my new vehicle tinted. Lucky for me one of the places I contacted was New Vision. From the start, Liz and the team were responsive, friendly and did a great job. Fast forward a couple of weeks and one of my windows had some issues that led me to return to their shop. Without hesitation they offered to replace the tint on the one window but the knowledgeable tech also advised that an imperfection in the glass could be the issue. Sure enough, after redoing the job it was confirmed the glass was the issue and not the tint job. Even though they had already done two tint jobs and determined the glass was the problem and not their work, they offered another solution for tint.. free of charge! This is what I call great customer service and a commitment to keeping customers happy and standing by their work!
