I found Events Decorated on a simple google search with the thought that I wanted to drape either our ceremony or reception. I quickly saw that she does everything! She and her amazing team ended up doing all of our flowers, lighting, and reception and ceremony decorations; she even helped us figure out details about the flow of the night. Among other things, Jennifer came to us with the idea of doing our ceremony "in the round" which we thought sounded really unique, but ended up way exceeding our dreams. Throughout the months, we gathered pictures that we liked from big to small and sent them to her. She combined everything to make our ceremony a huge combination of everything and more. Jennifer is very calming and sweet. Anytime we were starting to panic (as you do at times while planning a wedding) Jennifer calmed us with ease and an abundance of knowledge. When I pulled up after finishing at the salon the day of the wedding, I couldn't help but squeal with excitement!! I ran over to Jennifer, who was still setting up our rustic vine arch, and we hugged and jumped up and down with tears in our eyes. She was so excited and full of energy for our big day and the whole design scheme practically the entire time we were planning but especially at that moment. Jennifer was a true blessing. Every person was blown away by the magnificent glow our entire venue emitted. My husband and I absolutely love Jennifer. He's the consummate professional, an impeccable MC, and did a stellar job of catering music to the crowd. And he's an incredibly nice guy. When our wedding planner first recommended Alan, we were a little hesitant simply because we couldn't really find any reviews for him online. So, we met him for lunch, and quickly realized he was the right DJ for us - we hired him on the spot. We had Alan handle 3 different sound areas - our ceremony (outdoor), our cocktail hour, and the full DJ setup for our reception, and everything worked great. He actually came to our rehearsal the night before to see what the best sound setup was going to be for our ceremony - that was above and beyond our expectations. On top of that, he went further "above and beyond" and added a 4th sound area - we had a kids room where we were trying to play cartoons and movies for the kids. It did not occur to us beforehand that while the room had a projector and screen, there were no speakers for sound. Someone mentioned this to Alan, and he immediately went and set them up with speakers so the kids could watch their cartoons. My bride and I had no idea this even happened until the next day. Also, the "Love Story" Alan does is priceless - I highly recommend taking the time to give him the information he needs to put it together. I was somewhat hesitant and nervous about it, thinking it might be cheesy, but it was perfect - funny and engaging (which is very important when you're trying to keep the attention of a crowd of 150+ people). We got countless comments on how cool it was. Overall, many people have told us how much fun our wedding was, and Alan was a huge part of that. Highly, highly recommended.
