I'm currently taking a break from gels and appreciate that they don't try to push you to get gels and tell you that non-gels will chip in a day (almost every salon I've been to of late pushes hard for gels). I feel a bit broken hearted. This is a place where I have gotten countless manicures. Usually acrylic, they're usually amazing. I was so excited I found a spot that did such a thorough job. A few days ago I had to get gel X for a shoot. I didn't want it but I was down to keep them, however after two days they lifted from the cuticle so I came in to get them removed. I explained that I was there two days before and showed them. I expected this to be a free service because they had done such a poor job on the gel x, only to be charged $35 and to be asked to tip. I paid because I am not ever gonna not pay for a service if that's what they're asking, but it was extremely disappointing because I'm used to a very thorough service, and the gel x Service I received a few days ago was extremely poorly done and lazy and I thought that they would just want to fix the mistake. Again I usually absolutely love this place, I tell everyone to go usually but I think that after today I'll probably have to find another place. read more

Although I am not an intricate design person, they accomplish every design I give them on the random occasion I feel like wearing one, and they are very kind to my Mom and I. Not the best place for a mani - my acrylic set felt rushed (my thumbs only have a light coat) and I felt lightly judged for asking for longer nails. BUT, this was the most thorough pedicure I've gotten in years. They did some work and got so much dead skin off. Take this for what you will. read more
