I came across Annie's name and website when I was going through a pivotal moment in my life. Annie was my first life coach, and although I had no idea what to expect I knew the experience would be different. What I was doing on my own, at home and work, was not working and so I decided to try something different by reaching out to a professional. Someone who could give me honest, and professional advice. I worked with Annie over a stretch of 9 months. As an educator with several years of experience, and as a graduate student, I sought out New York Life Coaching (NYLC) to help me to clarify my future life goals and to explore any barriers to achieving those goals. I felt like I was stuck in a rut with my life and didn't have the tools to make the changes I wanted. Annie Lin is a remarkable woman and I undoubtedly would recommend her services to anyone, even my closest friends. I've tried different types of therapy over the last few years, none of which proved successful. It is incredible difficult to find a person who I can connect with quickly (I have no patience), to confide in, and trust she/he has my best interest at heart. Annie's sessions combines talk therapy, along with action oriented therapy, which was the key for me. Her inclusion of meditation practices before the start of each session was my favorite part. My decision to seek a life coach was initially triggered by lack of confidence in my new job. I have a nice, well-paying job yet I felt somehow unfulfilled. I was challenged to find meaningful relationships and I felt stuck in corporate America. While I am fortunate enough to pursue a very successful career, I have recently found myself bored, sensing my life has come to a standstill.
