Personally, I would not recommend using Roto Rooter in the Cape area. We called for an outdoor hose…read morespigot replacement ($10 part), and were consistently attempted to be upsold. We were told "we don't use those $10 spigots, we'll get you hooked up with one that'll last a lifetime" by the guy on the phone, only to have our actual technician go grab a $50 Lowe's part (literally said hold on I have to run to Lowe's for it), came back and installed it in less than 20 minutes. The entire job start to finish took 20 minutes, the part was $50 and our total was $590. $50 in parts and $540 for less than half an hour of labor is absolutely heinously immoral and these guys should be ashamed. National average for a professional spigot replacement is $150-300 at the extreme ends. Roto Rooter pulled a con job and has lost our business, buyers beware they're actively looking to screw you. Have called other plumbers since that have verified we got screwed in this deal.
