First time here and we got 2 salads. The first one listed on the menu and the chicken salad. I honestly was very surprised we did not like our food. The place has a nice vibe. There was a hiccup in our plans for a large soccer team lunch, and called Newks this morning to inquire about the possibility of eating there instead. Spoke to John, the manager, who was incredibly accommodating and easygoing about our last-minute 38 person group coming in 3 hours later. And it only got better. We were warmly welcomed, everything was set up for us, and he and his team repeatedly checked on us, making sure everything was perfect. Awesome people, awesome food. read more

While out exploring our new city we craving some sandwiches! Looked on yelp and found Newk's had rave reviews and the food looked amazing! Just inside the door DJ greeted us and gave us the entire rundown on the menu and ordering and the popular picks and all kinds of everything! He was extremely nice and knowledgeable! The food! I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was probably the 2nd best I have ever had! (Best being from the east coast {hard to beat an east coast Italian!}) the pasta salad side, while good was a bit over priced for the tiny cup they give you. My wife ordered the Mediterranean pizza- she loved it. The mushrooms were chopped pretty largely but all looked and tasted delicious! Since our visit last week I have been craving the Italian sandwich and more so the bread it came on! All around, great experience, clean restaurant, fantastic service, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food! read more

Fun little fast casual eatery! Great for a day when you're starving because they have a small complimentary snack bar that has some crisp bread sticks, pickles and such. The menu serves salads sandwiches and pizzas plus a few other things like Mac n cheese, soup and cake slices. I went out on a limb and tried the pizza and I really like it. It reminds me of New England because it has a crispy but a little chewy crust. We got the Newk Qpizza and it was great! Nice thin chicken breast and mild creamy BBQ sauce. We tried a brownie and I found it dry. My lil bro said it reminded him of school brownies! But he liked it. I got a water but they had a nice lemon station for drinks and I enjoyed using some. The seats are comfy and customer service is something they're paying attention to. I'll be back to try other offerings. Glad this place came to the area! read more

Had a great night trying out some salads, pizzas and sandwiches at an event last night. I miss going over here for lunch (when we were in the office nearby). I've liked everything I had in the past here, but some new taste standouts included: - chicken salad: everything I love in a chicken salad: grapes, nuts, onion, overflowing on grainy bread with cheese, lettuce and tomato. - Newks favorite salad: chock full of thin-sliced chicken, Gorgonzola, grapes and more. I could eat this every day. - margarita with cauliflower crust: couldn't tell the difference. Tasty sauce, I'd like a bit more basil and less mozzarella, but pretty good for a place that's not just a pizza joint. The owner and staff were very nice and welcoming! read more

I came here with a friend on Monday night because it's been crazy busy since opening day. The restaurant was empty and there seemed to be 6-7 too many people working. I ordered the Pick 2 with a bowl of the crab corn chowder and a Caesar salad. The corn chowder was super salty and I couldn't finish it. It also wasn't chunky at all and didn't have bits of corn or crab. It was more like a bisque than anything. The Caesar salad was over dressed and I had 3-4 bites and stopped eating it. Disappointing to spend $11 on dinner and only eat 1/3 of it. Their iced tea is good and the cup size is ridiculously large but appreciated. Their condiment bar is fun and the sweet pickles are the best part. I'll try Newks again but hope it's better than my first experience. read more

I really like Newks but I loved them when I was first introduced. Food is high quality. The facility is clean. Inconsistency is their downfall: Service ranges from inviting to tolerant, and food ranges from super tasty to 'fine', which in my opinion is like a 4-letter-word for dining out. The condiment island is fabulous (love those pickle slices and the roasted garlic! ) I hope they can iron out the discrepancies and possibly open a new location on the west side of town! read more

The most pleasant young woman took our order (her smile never left her face) was a fabulous way to begin. Also, the other young woman with long dark hair was equally very pleasant when bringing our order to our table. Both my husband's club sandwich and my green goddess salad were awesome. Love the fact the music was not too loud and the air conditioning spot on (not too cold or hot). In the past have been disappointed in lack of avocado etc on the chicken avo sandwich but will give it another try next time given the A+ today on all counts. Well done! read more

We actually came to this area eat somewhere else, but decided to try this place instead. The employees were provided excellent service from our order to our departure. Loved it. I ordered the half club and a simple salad. My mom got the shrimp salad. She loved the dressing but I would suggest asking for more lettuce. There was only a small ammount but it was loaded with arugula. The club on the baguette was perfect. And the side salad was a perfect size. They got our order correct (I'm dairy free) and it's surprising how many times that doesn't happen. We will be back for sure. read more

New!! This place just won me over as my favorite go-to lunch spot. I had drove by a couple months ago and was anxiously awaiting Newk's to open. I finally went yesterday for lunch because it was cold and snowy and I was craving a sandwich and soup. Newk's is located in Lone Tree off of Lincoln, close to the Super Target and right next to Sprouts. They have a lot of menu options to choose from and you can always do a "half and half" option. I did the half and half with a half Turkey Avocado sandwich and Loaded Potato soup. The sandwich was so good as well as the soup. The size was perfect for lunch. I also ordered a drink which I got iced tea and they have so many options for tea and the cup size is huge! Next time I go I really want to try the mac and cheese, it looks so good! Inside, Newk's is pretty big, I wasn't expecting there to be as much seating as there is. They have a cute condiment bar in the middle of the restaraunt where you can get pickles, cheese, peppers, croutons and little breadsticks as well as oil and vinegar. Pretty much anything you'd need for your meal. The only part I struggled with is they bring out silverware but I wanted another fork and had to ask. I wish there was extra silverware baskets. The staff delivers your food to your table which I appreciate. I LOVE NEWKS! So excited to have this addition to our neighborhood. Perfectly acceptable fast casual experience. The menu is pretty wide, with salads that looked tasty, as well as sandwiches, pizza, soup, and cake. My husband and I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich and mac and cheese for the half-and-half, and one stepdaughter ordered a pizza and the other a full sandwich. The food was decent, but nothing special. I thought the turkey sandwich could have used a bit more mayonnaise or another condiment, and the mac and cheese was a bit bland. We also ordered a lemon cake, which was pretty good. The good: nice atmosphere, clean, diverse menu, good location, complimentary condiment/bread stick bar, nice staff, big drink cups, good soda options (Diet Dr. Pepper!). The food was average, and I thought that sandwiches at Kneaders are better. We'll probably be back, but I wouldn't say it'll become one of our go-to fast restaurants. Soups and sandwiches is my favorite lunch combo so I was excited to try this spot out for lunch. I met my parents here during a lunch break from work and was a little nervous about getting my lunch in time due to the line being out the door! Thankfully the line went quickly and they were able to bring food out to the tables in reasonable time as well. On to the food- I ordered the lobster and crab bisque and the Italian sandwich and really enjoyed both. I did the cup of soup with the half of a sandwich. I was worried when I saw the portions that I might still be hungry because the sandwich looked on the smaller size but I actually was full after eating my meal. It's a large family style place. There is some outside, umbrella seating. I got the gf vegetarian pizza. It was thin but not too crunchy. There is a lot of pesto and a generous amount of veggies. This place has such fresh yummy salads. I came here one day for lunch with my coworkers and ordered the ahi tuna salad with the wasabi soy dressing. It was absolutely amazing. Sweet, salty, and perfectly refreshing for summer! So good! They offer free breadstick crackers that you can snack on with your salad or while you wait for your foo Their salad portions are huge. I ate and ate and ate and could not finish it. So perhaps order a half portion if you're not a big eater. I will definitely back here for more salads in the future. Very disappointed to see the GREY tuna in my $18 tuna salad. I've attached a picture for reference. This is the 2nd time I have ordered the tuna salad and it arrived with bad meat, it even smells horrible. Who in their right mind would think it is appropriate to send out a salad with bad meat!?? People who eat raw tuna know it should be bright pink/red. Newk's kitchen staff needs some education, and maybe the Health Department should visit. Disgusted, done with Newk's. read more
