There's a large grocery store to the front which is handy as it's a fairly small village, and a good enough sized Post Office to the rear. They seem to be quite professional in there - uniformed staff who know what they're talking about, and I've never had to queue for too long to be served. It's just a couple of minutes off the M180 so quite handy if you need to get to the PO on the move. It's on the main road through to Epworth, and there's enough parking at the front.

It's inside a large newsagents so if you've got kids with you be prepared for lots of 'I want, I want' as it's full of sweets and toys. There are often large queues, which aren't helped by the fact that the staff seem to spend quite a lot of time talking to each other rather than serving. Not always, but enough times that it becomes an annoyance for regular users. Bizarrely, the nearest Post Box is a few hundred yards down the road, so either hand letters in over the counter or take a bit of a walk after you've bought your stamps! If you're an Ebayer in the area, I'd much sooner recommend taking a trip out to Scawby where the service is absolutely excellent and can't be faulted in any way.

It's small but quite spacious inside, and it's all spotlessly clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and professional, and on the three occasions I've been there they've always been chatty, probably because I've always been lucky and never had to queue! Parking outside is limited and can, on occasions, be very busy. The only time I've had to wait a long time in a queue was when a coachload of American tourists were visiting, buying souvenirs and postcards.

Because of this it also does not carry a lot of the merchandise that many other post offices carry just a small range of packing materials etc and some of the forms and leaflets advertisinf post office services. The staff are friendly and efficient, assisting you where needed and I never have a problem - am usually in and out pretty fast regardless of my requirements. Not a bad shop but would prefer a little bit of separation from the rest of the shop.
