Sorry, that's not how it goes. Like most papers The Washington Examiner is compprised of a) news items and b) opinion pieces. The opinion pieces are more Conservative (What, you wanted more CNN?) but not fanboy level. The news articles themselves state the who/what/when/where/why relatively straightforward... which is what textbook-definition JOURNALISM is supposed to be about. Seriously, the negative reviews by those who have a partisan bent aren't a good barometer of the paper's worth. The reality is most forms of media today have some slant, the question is whether that slant is to the extent that they'll a) regularly omit inconvenient truths, b) write misleading headlines (and then bury the lede contradicting that headline, etc.) and so on. I tend to get my news from multiple sources because too many so-called MSM sources tend to decide the truth for the reader without providing all the facts. Considering how wrong the MSM/ Press has been in the past 5+ years, determining the narrative ahead of the facts, it behooves you to find news sources which at least give you enough background on a subject so you can tell whether it's opinion-disguised-as-news, a false narrative being pushed (by whom, you'll have to figure that out yourself), or something that appears factually grounded. My main issue is with the company not simply refunding me the $99. There is no phone customer support and there the email rep told me that their agreement states absolutely no refunds once I'm charged for the annual membership. I've been in this situation a few times over the years where you automatically get charged a big amount of money after a teaser intro period and the companies have refunded me the big charge no questions asked. Smells of desperation on the part of The Daily Caller not willing to issue me a refund. I'll keep posting negative reviews.

I had a 1 yr subscription to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). I could place delivery holds but only…read morefor 60 days. I put repeated holds over that last years and all of a sudden I was told my sub expired!?? But the reps I spoke to every 2 months told me I had extended my sub into the future! (I had about 9 months left of my year sub.) Dow Jones, will not budge. They are claiming all sorts of stuff that I didn't subscribe to (digital enhancements?!?) So they claim by sub is done. The reps I talked to every 2 months said otherwise. Shame on you for ending my legitimate, 9 month, subscription to the WSJ. EVERY rep confirmed my sub every 2 months when I called and asked about it! Obviously Dow Jones does not stand behind what their employees tell their customers! BUYER BEWARE! HORRIBLE, SLEAZY company that doesn't stand behind their product?!? (And seriously, how hard would it be to continue my subscription that I SHOULD still have?!? Easy to appease the customer IMHO!)
