Firewood needs to be 20% moisture AT…read moreMOST to burn reasonably, and after testing about 50 pieces with a moisture meter, the DRIEST piece I tested was about 25%. Most of it is 30-40%. It WILL NOT burn in a stove when it's that wet. For it to be this wet means they made absolutely zero effort to season it, yet they're selling it as seasoned. It's a dishonest ripoff, I'll never do business with them again.
