Of course, that was a false promise. Clearly seems that the Left hand does not know what the Right hand is doing. Planting dates were delay, delay, and delay. Finally Will and team appeared only to experience more delay as Jeff loaded and delivered arbor vitae. Patience is a virtue and especially in working with Siebenthaler. All in all, a Great job, and new arbor vitae are beautiful. I have a water supply already set to water for the summer months. As long as one has patience, I recommend Siebenthaler.

It is 12:45 and he and his partner have taken care of every stump we flagged plus many more!! He was prepared to take the whole day but made short work of it! happy with their work and his attitude. He is reasonably priced and prefers to work while the ground is frozen. You won't be sorry if you hire him. All the debris is piled on top of the hole to be left to fill it in. River Rock Tree Service team cut down 2 large trees including one very close to a neighbor's fence…read moreand our property line and cleared a 150 foot section of invasive bush honeysuckle! Some thick branches of honeysuckle were growing in between a wire fence so they were even more challenging to remove. They removed the wire fence and rolled it up nicely. They ground out the stumps of the large trees and cleaned up all areas leaving them looking 1000% better. We will now be able to landscape the areas. Very personable and professional, very detail oriented, and substantially less expensive than other tree removal services. I highly recommend this company without any hesitation.

Unfortunately, communication was a consistent issue from the very beginning. Initially, we agreed on a day for service, that day would came and went without any update, and I had to reach out for an update. Even when they did arrive, there was no text, call, or knock at the door to let me know they were there--I only knew because I happened to notice them outside or my dog started barking. After the first visit, we agreed to a weekly Sunday schedule. However, there was never any communication about what time they would arrive, and there were weeks when I wasn't sure if they were coming at all. We also discussed additional services, such as seeding, and agreed on pricing, only for those services to either be forgotten or quoted at a higher price the following week. The final issue is what ultimately led the discontinuation of service. During a weekend with rain in the forecast, I wasn't expecting anyone to come because it had already rained that Saturday and more rain was expected through Sunday and Monday. I was home the entire time, but I had no idea anyone had been there. The crew didn't call, text, knock, or ring the doorbell. It wasn't until my wife came home later that day and noticed the freshly cut grass and new seed that I realized they had serviced the yard. Since then, they haven't returned for the agreed-upon weekly service. I reached out by text to ask what happened with intentions of paying the previous service but never received a response. The actual lawn work was satisfactory, and I appreciated the reasonable pricing. However, reliable communication is just as important as the quality of the work. A simple text before arriving, updates when schedules change, and responding to customer messages would have made a huge difference. I'm leaving this review in the hope that these communication issues improve because I believe they have the potential to provide a much better overall customer experience.

We found this company on yelp recommendations for tree services. We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

After coming out in person to assess the trees, they provided us with what seemed like a solid, straightforward quote. We scheduled the work based on that agreement -- only for them to come back later demanding a higher price ($400 more) and insisting they also take the cut wood that we very clearly said we wanted to keep. They used to excuse for wanting to take the wood as there reason to not complete the job. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, communication completely fell apart after that. They stopped responding, never followed through on the revised plans, and ultimately wasted our time. We rearranged our schedules for their availability, only to be left hanging with no explanation. Professionalism, reliability, and honest pricing matter -- and unfortunately, this company fell short on all three. I would not recommend them based on our experience.
