This was a trek into another world! This side of Temecula is 10 degrees cooler than wine country! Why the Newton Manor can grow avocados! It's definitely an experience getting here and not for those who are prone to motion sickness! The husband or son provides complimentary valet if you make it to their grounds in one piece. The views are expansive and the husband and wife host are endearing! What an extensive list of teas and a cool activity to bookend their experience, which currently is only offered once a month. Their tea sandwiches were too heavy for our party. Some of us just scraped the middle to eat. I would recommend decreasing the size of the portions so we could enjoy the desserts more freely! I'm not sure if I will return myself but I will let my network know that it is an experience that is just an hour or so away from OC and SD! read more

Incredible venue. So beautiful. Being surrounded by nature is healing. Loved getting to pick flowers and foliage from the property and make arrangements. The views were stunning. Never realized you could see the ocean from Temecula. Kimberly is a wonderful hostess and makes everything feel extra special. Highly recommend attending a class or workshop. read more

Take a drive into the Temecula De Luz area to enjoy the fabulous mountain top estate of Newton Avocado Manor and an evening of high tea and craft making. The views are amazing and the grounds are beautiful! Ladies (and men too!) this an experience that you will not want to miss! Our table was Alice in Wonderland, complete with an adorable white rabbit teapot. There are many teas to choose from, including herbal and caffeine free. The menu is scones, caprese skewers, small sandwiches, and sweets. Produce is locally grown (like purple basil). What a wonderful venue for High Tea. Situated up in the hills, the view is fantastic. Beautifully themed tables and friendly servers just adds to this experience. Our table was Alice in Wonderland. The table next to us was Puzzles. Wait staff were all masked and I believe tables were 6+ feet apart. High Tea tea was chosen from an extensive list, with several non caffeine options. Small sandwiches, salad and sweets were everything one would wish for. This venue has a craft at the end of tea. We all made wreathes. Some of the staff helped and came around with supplies. So I took home my wreath and the tiny cakes (Yes, I did share with my husband). The staff was friendly and hwlpful. Even the valet parking guy had a big smile. Kudos to Newton. What a wonderful place for an afternoon gathering of family or friends! Tucked between hills and avocado orchards on the Santa Rosa plateau, Newton Avocado Manor is one of the most unique afternoon tea places we've been to. The entire seating area is outside and the table settings are very tasteful, and each table decorations are unique; there's a Mona Lisa theme, a Japanese theme, a whimsical theme, and so on. Kimberly and Howard, the owners, have a great eye for decor and make a point to greet all guests personally, stopping by each table to share stories about their beautiful Manor. The tea selection is great and they pair the Afternoon tea with Craft making - yesterday afternoon we did eucalyptus wreaths and the smell still surrounds us. Our server Alan took great care of us and made sure we had the most personalized attention and good advice about the tea menu. Because we were celebrating two birthdays yesterday, we added a birthday package and the lemon cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. My cousins and I had a great galentines day this past weekend at Newton avocado manor. First, the location is amazing! You get a great view of the mountains and avocado trees. The high tea was beautifully decorated (we got an Alice in wonderland themed table) and service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed the live music and all the food that was served. Such a dreamy place to "Partea" with your girlfriends, mom, sister or granny. The manor itself was so beautiful, the table seating was on a cliff overlooking a spectacular view. Every table had a theme going on and the teapot collection were the cutest. The tea selection was great and my personal favorite was the carrot cake one.. The service was outstanding. Our waitress, Ariana went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. We made a decoupage craft together to take home after sipping tea and clicked tons of pictures. First I want to say, I know they only opened a couple of months ago, so any criticism is meant to be helpful. I would definitely recommend this for an unique girls night out. Really fun to dress up, try something new, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Now the things you need to be aware of,, The drive up is beautiful , but very curvy and has several small steep hills. There is only one bathroom, which got very busy and took forever. It is valet parking , so bring cash for a tip . Things the need to improve on...something to control the bees and wasps, we had several enjoying out tea, we happened to go during a southern cali heat wave and it would have been nice if they had ran out and got some outdoor fans, bread on sandwiches were stale from being exposed to the air, so maybe a different type of bread, the scones were more like cookies and the creme wasn't anything special...Things they got right...tea selection is great, recommend the carrot cake tea, the sandwiches were tasty and nice selection once you got past the stale bread on some of them, the pastry's, especially the little cheesecakes were amazing. Would recommend some sugar free options tho. Our tables were on the end by the parking lot which doesn't give you a very good view of the scenery and the manor really retains the heat so very hot area. I would ask for a more central table. Most of all, the waiters, waitresses, valets, and the owner and his wife are all amazing. read more

The view and scenery are spectacular. The food was disappointing. Stale bread, sandwich fillings were so so. Food presentation could be improved. Food was placed directly on the tiered platter. Paper doilies or individual paper dessert cups would have made a much nicer presentation. There were so many bees. My friend is allergic to bee stings so the experience was not as pleasant as it could have been. The restroom only had hot water to wash your hands. The cold water could not be turned on. Making the craft was fun but it would have been nice if someone had been directing the activity, giving suggestions and showing some examples. When leaving and waiting for our car, there was a very strong sewer smell. read more
