But what was really nice was the open doors out on to the enclosed, private terrace, complete with water feature, huge petal bath and pretty foliage. It really was like we were in Asia somewhere! The girls who performed the treatments were really competent and sweet. There really was some power behind the long, luxurious massage strokes on all of my sore spots and some I didn't even realise I had, until she pummelled them away. Of course, it was all rather more dear than what you would pay in Asia, but not outside the realm of reasonableness, considering the convenience, location and experience. Ok, maybe hitting is not the right word, more like patting...but really hard! It was to the point where I starting flinching. This was not the relaxing facial that I was looking for. So from this one experience I would not return. For $100+ I would have expected much, much more and I didn't get it.

It also depends a lot on whether the person follows my instructions and requests: you see, the main reason I often go get these quick massages is because I have a lot of pain on one particular area and side of my back. I always tell them to focus specifically on that area because it's where I need it most, but they don't always do it. However, when they do follow my request and focus on my area of need, hitting the right spot, I walk out of there feeling like a brand new human. They have three locations in the Inner West of Sydney: Balmain, Glebe and Newtown and are open 7 days a week. In addition to treatments, they have heaps of goods for sale including gifts, candles, room sprays and they also make their own line of essential oils. I invited my friend Nicole to join me in exploring Nature's Energy and their Bath House Experience as I had been craving some hydrotherapy. The Spa recommends using a session to enhance the benefits of their treatments. It is unisex so you must bring a bathing suite, however Wednesdays is reserved for women only. But then again, I'm a guy, I don't really know heaps about scented soap and I don't harbour a lot of interest in Taro, but being a tea-drinker, I liked the range of various teas and herbs for different purposes and ailments. I wasn't too concerned with what they did compared to how they tasted, but they drew me in!
