Everything was great at first, they were responsive and friendly until they received our $1,890.00 payment (May 2021) and then everything changed instantly. After receiving payment, they communicated twice to schedule appointments that they no-show/no-called for. There was no other communication and Ryant Connelly and Bellen stopped answering the phone (voicemail was always full), responding to text, or facebook messenger where they were previously responsive. In all we made 23 different attempts to contact them between July and September. Next we got a lawyer (August) and sent a letter asking for a refund. Within weeks we heard back from Bellen saying they're not sure how we slipped through the cracks but our options at this point are to get a refund, minus $500 penalty for cancelling (!!) or to schedule the turf or they could deliver the turf and we could install ourselves. They wanted to penalize us $500 for "cancelling" when they had literally kept our money and ignored us for months. We paid them in May of 2021 and didn't receive our refund back, even with the help of attorneys, until December 1, 2021. When he did refund the money, he didn't send it with instructions in the letter to the lawyer, he sent it via Zelle to a member who is no longer on our board of directors. Ryan messaged me in October to apparently taunt and belittle me. Ive kept screenshots of the messages. I explained how his delays impacted our community and he said "Sounds like a personal problem." Among other things he called me a "pussy," "little man" and said "You're crying over $2k baby money. I spend that on wine" and "I'm crying in my house on the water with a scotch." When I told him that I'd be including his texts in my Yelp and BBB reviews, he said "See you threaten me in person" and "I could give a fuck less" Went on the BBB website to write a complaint and see that several other customers have had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. BEWARE!

I scheduled a consultation online. Made sure to be home for the appointment. Got a text 12 minutes…read morebefore the appt to ask to reschedule for the next day. I said OK, and I never heard from anyone again.
