She was always telling me how much she hates the cold and going outside to warm up the car. I called her to tell her what I wanted to do and she said yes. So I called and spoke with Laurie to get information on prices and options. Laurie was very nice, easy to talk to and knows the product and installation very well. She was also very patient with me because I needed to get more information from my girlfriend that she needed to get me the right module. I had to call back twice and Laurie was right there waiting for me! The most important feature of their store was the ability to take a credit card over the phone because I am in Orange County, CA. Laurie said they do gift cards and I would get an email with an invoice number that I can email to my girlfriend. She could then schedule a time that works for her. As I was talking to Laurie making the payment and giving her my info, my GF called back, but I was on the phone with Laurie. I called my GF back and she told me that she changed her mind and didn't want it because she would have to wait for them to install it. I was trying to wrap my head around her thought process, but just couldn't. Oh well. It's her loss... I called Laurie back to tell her the bad news and apologize. Laurie understood my frustration and cancelled my order. She also gave me another option and that was to hold onto it until I can be there with my GF to do it. I said "no" and again, she was understanding and proceeded to refund my money. So because of the levee of satisfaction I have from Laurie, I highly recommend RSounds & Security to everyone! After I put the bigger tires on they rubbed every where, and are so close to the bumper I'm worried it might get ripped off while turning. Then I noticed the brake line on the front right side was even rubbing...on stock tires! I called them and they made every excuse in the book: it was the alignment, it was the rim offset, anything but the fact that they recommended a lift that was too short. So finally they said they would turn my torsion keys up ( not what I even wanted) to clear the wheel well, but then I was put off on their schedule. I will never have these people touch my truck again!

My car became undrivable before their loaner was available, so I had to bring it in early. At drop-off, I spoke with Mary Jean, who agreed over the phone that I could pay the repair balance in installments since I needed to use my savings to purchase a temporary beater car. Based on that agreement, I went ahead and bought an inexpensive vehicle and waited for the repairs. Once the work was completed, the entire agreement was suddenly denied. I was then contacted by Deb, who immediately began pressuring me to either pay the full balance upfront or sell my car to them at an extremely low and unrealistic price. When I refused, she informed me they would start charging $100 per month just to keep my repaired vehicle on the lot--something never disclosed in advance. She repeatedly referenced a supposed "normal" rate of $100 per day as if it were a threat, even though none of this was part of the original conversation with Mary Jean. The behavior felt strategic and manipulative, designed to corner me into selling them my car. When I arrived with the $2,000 I had borrowed from a friend, the visible shock on Deb's face said everything--she clearly expected I'd have no choice but to give in. The entire situation made me feel like they were taking advantage of someone they assumed couldn't push back. The store manager refused to speak with me by phone and insisted on email only, adding to the frustration. Throughout the ordeal, I received dismissive remarks, including being told I "couldn't be trusted" to pay--even though their last-minute changes were the only reason the situation escalated. I genuinely cannot understand how a business operates this way and stays open. Between the shifting terms, undisclosed fees, pressure tactics, and lack of basic professionalism, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with any repair shop. I would strongly advise others to avoid Olsen's entirely.

A $2800 bumper was installed incorrectly, mechanic said the company was wrong that it fits, then lied about there being no instructions. Then decided to cut my OE bumper off, the cut is all jagged and unprofessional and crammed in the new bumper. Which he also cut pieces off of to fit without my permission. I called the bumper company and they remember this rude man who indicated to me that the bumper company was rude with horrible customer serve. They however were very nice, provided images and video to my email on installing the bumper correctly. Also installed was the wrong headlights, the wrong taillights, drilled holes in my dash when we agreed on velcro, mounted the dual battery relay wrong, shorts out my radio when I use power windows, my rear vents quit working, wrong color switch panel ordered, and installed a 3 star second battery. He refused to provide proof of sales for MY parts and refused to provide extras from parts like instructions and the dual battery monitor that he failed to install. I requested sales proof multiple times and denied over him saying it has personal info on it, then he claimed he lost it. I itemized the parts list myself and found that the parts only cost $5100 and I was charged $8190. So in reality, he charged $7300 for labor to install the bumper wrong, the wrong front and rear lights, drilling in a switch panel, adding a dual battery kit and second battery. Refused to return items I didn't want. Hes argumentative and does not have the ability to tell the truth. I already have a lawyer and a case started under negligence and consumer protection for damages to my vehicle, installing all the wrong stuff, lying about parts costs and fake reshelving fees for Amazon, lied about the bumper fitment, lied about labor costs, and lastly is a horrible mechanic. I wouldn't trust this man to do an oil change. If you absolutely have to go there, be wary and watch your funds. He'll only give you a hand written receipt, question everything.

Suderman's gave a much more competitive price and only repainted the fender. They touched up the TINY scrape on the bumper by hand (this was my preference). They finished earlier than estimated, and the fender paint matches perfectly. The car looks great, you can't even tell that any work was done! I will return to Suderman's for any future body work.

My sense is that they do try to do a good, honest job. Most everything I've taken a car in for has been fixed. However, sometimes, I've had to take the car back again because the job was not complete. So inspect carefully for a few days after you get the car back. They will pick up and deliver; have loaner cars available. Less expensive than dealers. However, it is very important to get a precise estimate from Sudermans first before proceeding, and instruct them to call if they find anything else that needs fixing to give an estimate before proceeding.
