My husband and I were very happy with the work they completed. We had them install 3 ceiling fans (with no existing light in the ceiling present) in the bedrooms and 6-6" Nora recessed lights in the family room. They assembled and installed each fan, and programmed the remote controls associated with each fan type. Due to stud placement in the ceiling, we had to adjust the number of recessed lights from 4 to 6, which ended up looking far better. The technicians provided us with their expertise and opinions which we found to be very helpful. The technicians patched any areas of drywall that were cut through during the wiring process. BEWARE - this company lies!!! Does NOT respect client's time!!! Steve told us his team would arrive on Friday 3/18/2022 between 1-3pm to do an exhaust fan replacement at our house. No one shows up by 3pm and he said they would come on Saturday AM instead. No one comes on Saturday either. I call Steve on Sat 11:30am to inquire what happened and he has no clue, said John never scheduled anyone for the job. Steve then says his team will come on Monday 3/21/2022 between 8:30am-9:30am instead. Cruz, Virgil and Eder show up at 9am to complete the project. The 3 guys tell me they don't know why no one showed up on Friday or Saturday because they said scheduling rests entirely on Steve. I really don't understand how this company can be rated a 5-star company, when they are completely UNRELIABLE, DISRESPECTFUL of client's time and just poor customer service. NO ONE takes ownership over what happened and it's the customer who suffers, and Steve is very bad at scheduling. He needs to retire. I can't trust him to do anything. I was looking to retrofit and install new recessed lighting throughout the house (over 100), a few chandeliers, garage lights, under cabinet lights, and exterior flood lights. Drywall Patch, Sand and Texture What impressed me the most was that Next Level Lighting has a dedicated dry wall team that patches, sands, and texturizes any hole they make during installation. They do not use a cheap texture from a can. Job Completion, Clean up and Final Walk-through At the end of each job day, the crew cleaned up their job area. All the rubbish left over gets hauled away by their junk removal team. Before payment, I did a final walk-through of the completed job. There were no unexpected surprises. Another great LED install by Next Level Lighting & Electric! Izzy, Martin, Roberto, Victor, and Churro were very professional. They made sure to cover all rooms and hallway floors to prepare for install. They installed 11 CFL converts in the kitchen and bathrooms and replaced with LED lights. Nine Nora LED lights were installed in the office and master bedroom and replaced switches with FEIT WiFi dimmer switches I purchased at Costco. However I do not recommend the switches from Costco because they have a constant power light that is ALWAYS on and lights up a room at night. Will definitely use Next Level Lighting & Electric again! My first experience with Next Level Lighting and Electric was excellent. I need some additional outlets installed near existing outlets. They arrived on time and took the time to really understand where I wanted the new outlets. The work was performed flawlessly and I was extremely happy. A little while later, I discovered that I needed a whole new outlet on its own dedicated circuit. Naturally I contacted Next Level again to get an estimate for the work. They sent out an estimator to evaluate the job. He looked at the new cutlet location as well as location of the panel. A short while later I received an estimate of about $750. I gave them the go ahead to do the work and they showed up a week later. The electricians took a look at the job and let me know that they were not able to,proceed because the work was more involved than they expected. I had ordered a custom media condole that was to installed in front of the of the new outlet. So it was quite inconvenient but I told them to discuss the issue with their manager and get back to me. A few days later, the manager contacted me and told me that it would now cost $1150 to do complete the job. I explained that the original price was based on the estimator seeing the site so what changed, he said that the estimator had made a mistake, To which I said, why should his mistake cost me more money? The manager said it's not costing you more momey(?!) I said that if it were my company, I would complete the job at the original price. Because the mistake was in their end and why should you pass that on to the customer?. So they unfortunately lost a good customer and I now have to look elsewhere for my electrical needs. *** UPDATE *** I seemingly had such a good experience that it saddens me to log this update. When I initially inspected the work, I focused on the lights, ceilings, and walls where the work was performed. It wasn't until weeks later that we found undisclosed furniture damage in two of our guest rooms. These rooms had been newly furnished so we know the damage had not existed prior to the lighting install. Both guestrooms have been unoccupied with doors closed since the lighting work was performed. Guestroom1 Prominent ding exposing bare wood on the front edge of the standing dresser(see pic). It appears that a tool or something heavy was dropped onto the edge during the installation. I've attached a pic after trying to mitigate the damage with a furniture marker. Still an eyesore. Guestroom2 Broken(missing) dresser drawer handle and broken drawer frame(see pics). Workers used step ladders so I can only surmise that a worker carelessly stepped onto the drawer breaking both the handle and frame. They placed plastic sheeting OVER the furniture so a broken handle would still be sitting there after they removed the plastic. The fact that the handle is nowhere to be found indicates that a worker removed the broken handle to cover the damage. We understand that things can happen during a project, but there is NO excuse for purposefully deceiving your customer by not disclosing known damage. That is pure subterfuge that I will call out every time. I clearly misjudged the character of this installation team. To be fair, I will reserve judgment of ownership's character until I see their corrective action. I will attempt to contact them in the morning. read more

Bait, switch, and rationalize. Make sure you have a VERY SPECIFIC ESTIMATE AND DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK. Next level gave me an estimate to run electrical wire to my 16 foot ceiling. Well, their lazy worker showed up and decided he didn't want to properly run wire to the switch. THEY WANTED TO PUT THE SWITCH IN THE ATTIC! and then use a Lutron Pico remote. Then when they came back to hang the 150 lb chandelier, the worker tried to use a 2x4 for bracing which wouldn't even safely hold the chandelier. I sent them home. Finally, they scratched my $7500 Restoration Hardware couch. These guys aren't to be trusted. The owner (or manager Steve?) is quite rude if you challenge the unscrupulous work. read more
