We've taken our children here twice and I've been once. I have absolutely zero complaints other than the receptionist was a little confused about Tricare Select deductibles. The care is outstanding, you book an appointment and skip the lines, and it's clean and in a convenient location aka next to a chick fil a. I absolutely loved the PA that works there so I was actually disappointed when we saw the MD at our last visit. She didn't disappoint and was absolutely wonderful as well. They aren't annoyingly conservative as other clinics can be in their approach and try to knock out whatever bug you have by pulling all the punches medication wise. read more

I made an appt on line and I wasn't seen for 40 min past my appt time- which is fine because I always expect to wait a little bit what makes it worse is the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She had to scan my insurance card and license and she was put out because of that. She also had to take my copay which even further put her out. I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt but when you're already not feeling well, dealing with someone like that always makes it worse. Lobby was clean and it's pretty big on the inside with plenty of seating. Intake nurse was nice and professional and apologized for the wait. PA was professional and caring. Good bedside manners. I have been here 4 times. Their billing has been good until this visit. I went in on 5/31/24 for back pain I had a balance the receptionist asked if I want to pay it which I did. this morning I woke up to see an automatic withdrawal from this office which I did not authorize. I didn't get a bill so I was unaware of the balance. Their customer service said I signed something that approved this. I would never have agreed to this ever. who would you need to see the bill and see what your insurance paid first. Their customer service said they are not required to send a statement. what?? Was not friendly, or greeted the way you would expect to be greeted. This was new to me because we have always had good experiences coming here. She told me that our insurance was inactive. I explained to her it is. I also told her that it's new insurance but needs to be ran through the direct website for eligibility Bc this happened at the PCP office. I called the number on the back of the card and the insurance verified it was active. She told me that would not be sufficient. I then was told to go on the website and screenshot the eligibility and email it to her. she said she would give me a form to fill out. I did so while sitting down. We were called up and told she was going to put me as self pay. Even though she just said that with online proof of being eligible we would be taken. She said she spoke to the supervisor Jo and he said no, we could not be seen. Her attitude continued to be horrible, unfriendly and in no way did she want to find a solution. I went down the road to Med Post and explained the situation. Right away Med Post went to the direct site of the insurance and pulled up we WERE active. I've had a really bad sore throat all week. I had a covid test and was waiting for the results but wanted to check to see if I had strep or something else. I went to the website to see if I could make an appointment, however, they were booked and it stated they were taking walk-ins. After my Covid test I went to the clinic and walked in. I was greeted by the staff and asked if they still took my insurance. I was told they did and asked if I had an appointment. I told the lady I was a walk in and she told me to scan the QR code to check in and wait in my car for them to call me. I'm glad they had this policy to wait in the car as I did not want to be waiting with a bunch of people around me who are sick. I asked about how long the wait was and was told probably 30 minutes or more. I went to my car and checked in and waited (in the website you can check how many people are in front of you). I talked on the phone, checked my emails and about an hour I got a text telling me it was time for me to be seen. The nurse was very friendly and so was the PA that saw me. I had a negative strep test and was told to wait for my Covid results and to continue to quarantine as my symptoms seem like Covid. I was probably in and out in about 20 minutes. I had an appt at 1:20pm at 16755 Huebner Rd, and waited for one hour before I went to the exam room. Then I heard the provider went into the next room to see the guy who came after me for 1:40pm appt. When I asked the staff why she didn't come see me, that person said she had to take care of emergency. That guy didn't have any emergent illness. I saw him talking on the phone, walking normal. Nothing emergent about him. I feel like I was discriminated by the provider since he is a white male, while I am asian woman. No logical reason for the provider to see him first. The staff told me to call 911 if I have an emergency sitiation. How rude! I got my copay back and left. What a waste of my valuable time! I will never go back there. read more

I will never use this urgent care again! My fiancé and I came here around 2pm for a Covid test. Their website says no appointment required but when you get here, they have signs saying no walk ins! So we call trying to see if they have availability and we're on hold for 10+ minutes. I walk in to talk to the lady who was basically no help. I gave her his name, what he needed and the insurance he uses since he was symptomatic and couldn't come in with me. Said to wait in the car and she will call when they're ready! Over 2 hours later and no phone call!!! We went to get food and she finally called saying they were ready but since we were out she told us to call back when we are here. Well 10+ more minutes in hold I go in again. She has no idea what I'm talking about in regards to the phone call and why he was there. So here we are, waiting in the car AGAIN waiting for her to call us. Over 3 1/2 hours later, still no Covid test. Update your website and fix your phone lines! We were in and out super quick, there at closing around 6pm on a Saturday. My 11 year old was crying and in pain from a very bad double ear infection. We left and were told that 2 rx for her were sent to a 24 hr CVS pharmacy on Nacogdoches. Left and drove 30 min there, that pharmacy was closed and it was NOT a 24 hr pharmacy. Drove another 20 min to the a CVS pharmacy that was, and they had no way to retrieve her info or ex bc this office sent them to one that was closed. My daughter is crying and we're now sitting in the ER waiting to be seen AGAIN bc our trip to this urgent care was useless and waste of time and money! This seems so unprofessional- Especially when it is a sick child suffering as a result! read more

If you are looking to get COVID tested here, don't. There was a guy who is heavy set and works in the morning, who is very impatient who swabs your nose and makes it the worse experience ever. I showed up as a walk in because I've been having a lot of sinus headaches all day every day and I was fed up. I found when I arrived they had a note on the door that you need to call to check in. They aren't letting people in except once it's their turn which is great. It means they are keeping people out of the lobby to keep COVID rates down. You can apparently make an appointment online before you get there and I wish I had known that! As a walk in, I ended up having to wait about an hour and a half, my fault for not making an appointment. Once it was my turn though, everything moved fast. I was able to get help for my sinus infection and get prescriptions. I'm so happy I tried these guys out. They even told me to call in a few days if I don't feel better and I can come back in but I've felt great ever sense. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Took my 2 year old granddaughter there for double ear infection. She was given wrong antibiotics. Went back to try to get it fixed and the make nurse lied to my face by saying "I spoke with Physician and I'm PRETTY SURE HE won't write another prescription." Then threatened us with calling security. YET THEY BILLED MEDICAID FOR THE VISIT. I called Department of Human Services and reported this Location! Yesterday my experience in this clinic was truly shocking. Not only was I spoken too in a rude condescending manner by the nurse after I waited a longer time than I expected. The nurse also proceeded to go in the other room to discuss my problem with the doctor and then her, AND the doctor continued to laugh at my situation clearly enough for me to hear in the room right beside them. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Then the nurse came in like nothing had happened and proceeded to try to assure me they wanted to do what was best for me, even tho it's hard to believe when you just heard then laughing at you. For simply wanting to be seen for by a doctor. Which I do not believe is a crazy thing considering It is an URGENT CARE. I should not have to feel like I am a burden to a medical staff when I paid just like everyone else to get seen. The doctor himself at first did not even have the right information. About why I was coming in in the first place, but once he understood that I had been feeling unwell for much longer than he thought I finally got the care I needed. I will not be coming back ever again, and I will be warning people against It. People in the health field should really at least pretend to care more about their patients. I'm glad at the very least that I was seen and given the treatment I needed after all that. read more

I explained that she only needed to fill out the physical form as it states at the top of the page but she refused to service me. The main intention of this place to cheat and make money at any costs. The most important requirement of the front desk staff is the ability to lie. They have property in Converse where money needs to come pouring in for a new facility! Not an Excuse for greed! The initial charges just for an office visit if you have insurance as per their conviction is $380. So they wanted $76 just for the office part as copay before the visit since I have good insurance. The other charges would be after the appointment. The lying front office b-- is 100% sure that my health insurance company would pay them $380 just for the office visit for their "top quality Care".. Where would healthcare be without insurance companies negotiating rates for us? If you have bad insurance that doesn't have negotiated rates here you may be in trouble. The behavior was so dishonest and sneaky that I decided to cancel the appointment and leave. I am so glad I did. Went to the Dr after 2 days of OTC meds. The front staff Annie and Mayra were professional and nice. They processed me quickly and within 15 minutes I was called back. The nurse that took me back was quick and very personable and although I felt awful she made it pleasant. Dr. Lindsey Stephens was a breath of fresh air: intelligent, charming and very knowledgeable about my issue. She got me diagnosed and out within 20 min or so and had already called my meds in to the pharmacy. Now that's service. I almost forgot to mention how beautiful the facility was. My total experience was amazing. They even had TVs in the room to watch while you wait and not a bunch of boring outdated magazines. I'll go back. read more

Love this place, wish they could be my regular doctor office. Dont get me wrong i do like my regular doctor but this place is so close to me.Everyone there from the front staff, nurses, PA, and Doctors are super thorough, caring and well informed. I'm so thrilled that I can check in online and run over and be seen as quickly as possible and have something called in immediately for me to be on my road to recovery. This place was a pure NIGHTMARE. My son had been throwing up and could not go into work. They require a doctor's note regardless of one or three days. Impact was recommended to me, and after seeing I could book and pre-register him online, I was pleased to be able to get him somewhere in and out quickly in case he was contagious! I made him the appointment at 1100, when he arrived at 1030, they told him they had no record of it or his personal info I had pre-filled out for him, even though he had emails confirming the receipt of his insurance info AND a confirmation number for the appt. ! The receptionist told him it didn't matter about the confirmation # and there was no way for her to look it up in the system and made him sit there nauseous for TWO HOURS!! They told him it would be another hour at 1230 because of lunches. After 2 hours of waiting, the other office staff realized the receptionist didn't know how to do her job correctly, apologized, and finally took him back. He sat there in a waiting room of no more than 4 people at any time while patients all came and went and he was ignored. read more

I was very impressed with the web check-in and read all the wonderful reviews so I decided to schedule 3 appointments from 10-11A,M, after reading they offer pediatric, immunization and vaccines. I received a confirmation text, so all was well and I was excited. I had been here once before for a pre employment drug screen for another urgent care facility where I presently work. We don't accept Medicaid and Impact did or I would have taken my three grandchildren there. We arrived for our scheduled appts 15 min early. The lobby was clean with no waiting time, perfect. The front desk person greeted me, I could see she keeps looking at her cell phone on the desk in front of her. She told me they don't do well child physicals or labs. She didn't seem too concerned that they made an error by not telling me in advance they don't do these types of services. Was not apologetic, on the contrary very matter of fact. I tried to think of different solutions to have the children checked in for so the visits would not be such a waste of our time. She did not offer any assistance or attempt to try a solution, she was more concerned still with her cell phone messages. Over the weekend we obtained our grandchildren through CPS foster care so my time window to get the children seen medically is imperative as there are state guidelines to adhere too . Working at an urgent care and being front desk myself, I was surprised by the lack of courtessy, professionalism and empathy to my situation.
