Bait and switch company. The positive reviews are either fake or maybe people who got lucky. Google this company and read what people are really saying about them on other platforms. They promised me one price and pick up window online, then called me and told me that if I don't pay in cash they can't "guarantee" the pick up window they offer. Then they waited until they told me my car will be picked up only to offer me a price 300-500$ more than I was quoted with a delivery window of later than what was promised. Then they told me there is no one willing to do door to door which is what the company offers and I'd have to deliver my car to the driver and pay 400$ more than my quote. I hired this company to ship my Mercedes from Rancho Mirage, CA to Milwaukee, WI in early March of this year, 2026. When the vehicle arrived, it had been already driven off the trailer and was left running. When I stepped into the vehicle to move it, the dash displayed an image that a collision had been detected. This was in mid-March of this year, prior to A/C season. I made a claim with Nexus and was told someone would be back in touch with me about the 'collision.' No one ever reached back out to me. Skip forward to a month ago when I wanted to use my air conditioning, it only blew warm air. When I took it to the dealership, I was told that the condensor had been damaged/punctured and needed replacing. I am now the proud owner of a new A/C condensor along with a refill of my freon. Luckily I found a reputable mechanic who replaced the condensor for less than the $4800 that the dealership quoted me. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a comany who will care for your vehicle and who cares enough about their customers to call you back about a claim, look elsewhere. Do not hire Nexus. read more

This company is not what it looks like, I had a bad experience with them. I contacted this company after I found them on a list from Forbes.com, to ship a vehicle from Texas to Wisconsin. At first, they were very responsive, definitely trying to get my business, they gave me the initial price and told me that it was the standard 3 day window to pick up the car. After I requested a 1 day window, they added a premium of $350, which is what I expected. At the moment of scheduling, I didn't have the exact address they where going to pick up from, but I had the zip code, so I made sure this was not going to be a problem with them, they told me I could give them the address when they call to confirm the dispatch. I needed that 1 day window because I was planning for them to pick up the car and then I would go to the airport and head home to go back to work. Once I gave them my credit card number they basically ghosted me; they never charged me, but they needed the number to schedule the pick up. After that, I asked them for an update twice, which I expected without asking based on the service they had been providing so far; they did not respond or even give me an update of when the transport would show up, only message I received was after I texted them the address. On a Tuesday we arrived to Texas with the car, we waited (3) nights in a hotel for them to pick it up, once we got to Friday and I realized that they were not to be trusted, we decided that our only window for Plan B was that weekend, so we were lucky to find a U-Haul nearby that had a car hauler that we could rent along with a truck, and drive it to Wisconsin. That Friday they called me right before I was heading to the U-Haul place, to let me know they had a driver scheduled for Monday, for a price $300 higher than what we had agreed on, on top of the fact that they didn't meet the 1 day window service, so all I had to say to that was "cancel the dispatch, that is not what we agreed on". They canceled it, and we loaded the car and drove 28hrs. I don't believe the Forbes article is right after this experience. read more

I was able to book with Nexus for a reasonable price. Ivan picked up our cars with the help of our real estate agent since we were already headed to our destination and the cars were delivered at the anticipated time. I am writing it because this needs to stop happening to people. I booked Nexus Auto Transport over two weeks in advance to ship my car from Orlando (MCO airport) to Michigan. Here is exactly what happened: Price #1 -- Online quote Price #2 -- Higher price at actual booking (still agreed and paid) Price #3 -- Phone call one week before pickup attempting to charge more due to my pickup window -- a window that was fully discussed and accepted when I booked Price #4 -- On the day of pickup, at the last possible hour before I had to leave for the airport, they called demanding an additional $400, bringing the total to $1,850 All day on pickup day they kept telling me everything was fine. They strung me along hour by hour until I had absolutely no time left to find another carrier. Then came the final demand. My car sat in the MCO airport parking garage. I had to buy a flight back to Orlando and drive it home to Michigan myself. They refunded my money -- but a refund doesn't give me back my time, my stress, or my travel costs. And it doesn't stop them from doing this to the next person. If you look at their other reviews, you'll see I am not alone. This is a pattern. Bad experience. Sales team guaranteed delivery by certain date. Vehicle was not delivered on that date. No communication to let me know it would not be delivered and I called throughout the day asking for updates - none provided. After they picked up my car, increased cost due to too much stuff in car - at that point, if I wanted to not pay the increased amount I would have had to uber over an hour away to retrieve the car. No tracking on car so no way to know where it was located. I have used several other companies that are way better, more communicative and didn't charge extra after pick up. If I could give Nexus zero stars, negative stars, or light their review score on fire, I would do it without blinking. This company is a total disaster an absolute disgrace to the car transportation industry and hiring them was one of the biggest and most expensive mistakes I've ever made. Let's start with the basics: Nexus has no attention to detail. None. They can't honor a pickup time, they don't notify you of changes, and they treat schedules like random suggestions rather than commitments. Days went by with little to no movement or communication, and every time they finally decided to respond, it was with incorrect information, pointless updates, and excuses that made no sense. It honestly felt like they were improvising everything on the spot. But incompetence alone would've been annoying not infuriating. What sent this experience into a nightmare was the damage they caused. When the driver arrived, I literally took every precaution. I told him over a FaceTime call clearly, slowly, and repeatedly NOT to touch my spoiler. I told him NOT to remove anything, NOT to adjust anything, NOT to mess with ANY part of it. He confirmed he understood. I did this because I know my car, and I know what needs to be handled carefully. And what did he do? The exact opposite, like he either didn't care or thought I wouldn't notice. When my car finally arrived, the spoiler was ripped off, the wiring was cut through, and everything that I specifically said NOT to touch had been messed with anyway. I went from expecting my car delivered safely to being stuck with a massive repair bill just to undo the damage Nexus caused. You would think at that point, any halfway decent company would do the right thing take responsibility, file a claim, or at least apologize. But Nexus isn't even capable of bare-minimum professionalism. Customer service with Nexus is like entering a Twilight Zone of disrespect. Their dispatchers are rude, dismissive, and straight-up hostile. They talk over you, they refuse to listen, and they act like you're personally bothering them just by asking where your car is or why it arrived damaged. Instead of acknowledging what happened, they constantly cut me off mid sentence like they were trying to shut me up before I could even finish explaining. Then came the worst part: the cover-up. Instead of owning the mistake, the dispatch team immediately tried to protect the driver, no matter how obvious the truth was. They ignored the fact that I warned him on FaceTime, ignored the visible damage, and ignored all logic. The driver lied about what happened and the dispatchers backed him up like their paychecks depended on it. They fed me excuse after excuse, none of which lined up with reality. It was painfully clear they were more interested in hiding the problem than fixing it. And once they realized I wouldn't roll over and accept it, they went even lower. They basically threw it in my face that: I wasn't getting reimbursed I wasn't getting a claim processed I wasn't getting answers and I wasn't even getting a simple apology Not one shred of accountability. Not a single ounce of integrity. Just walls, excuses, attitude, and blame-shifting. To make matters even worse, every time I tried to follow up, I got bounced around between different people all equally unhelpful and equally uninterested. Nobody took ownership, nobody made notes, and nobody cared enough to even pretend to fix the problem. It's like once the driver dropped the car off, the entire company washed their hands of it, even though THEY caused the damage. I've dealt with plenty of businesses in my life, but I don't think I've ever experienced this level of unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and disrespect all in one place. Nexus doesn't just do a bad job they do a bad job, lie about it, then make YOU feel like the problem for daring to complain. If you value your time, money, sanity, or physical property, do not under any circumstances trust Nexus with your vehicle. They are careless, they are rude, and they are completely incapable of owning up to their mistakes. I wouldn't trust them to transport a scooter at this point, let alone a car I spent real money on and clearly care about. Worst service. Worst customer interaction. Worst outcome. And I will 100% make sure anyone I know who needs transportation hears this story before they make the same mistake I did. read more

Needed a car to be transported after another company dropped the ball and changed the timing of pick up without confirming with me. Nexus' sales rep quickly found a solution for my tight timeline. The car was picked up promptly with good communication from the driver. The car even arrived on time. But, here's where the problems started... When the driver arrived, he appeared in a rush. While backing my car off the transport vehicle, the front bumper was ripped off! After contacting Nexus via email, a claim apparently was set up. Video and pictures were provided to them and they confirmed receipt. I've called and emailed Nexus claims and support over the last 2 weeks and they have yet to provide a solution. My car is un-driveable in its condition and they continue to give me the run around on solutions. I would NOT recommend using this service if you want your car(s) transported without damage and expect decent customer service. *Update* So Nexus decided to respond and basically note that they and their carrier decided the damage was preexisting. Meanwhile, they send me one image of a missing bumper clip on the other side of the car wheee no damage is present. They rip off the left side of my car and tell me it was ripped off before transport? Nope! We have video and have provided it here. Note that the car's bumper isn't ripped half off on the day of transport pickup and preloading. Also, check out the response they provided me. The carrier in question even responded and admitted fault of damaging my vehicle! Nexus, I hope you're aware, we're not letting this go. Shipped a car from San Francisco to Atlanta, where I live. Arranging pick-up was easy, the car was picked up in just two days, it took just four days to be delivered, and I felt the price was very competitive. However, there were a few issues..... In my first conversation with Nexus I explained the car was in the possession of my elderly aunt who lived alone, and that I was across the country in Atlanta. Because of this, I requested for the car to be picked up no earlier than 11am to give her time to wake up and dress - and I was assured it would be. But this did not happen. The transport showed up at 6:31am. After some back and forth calls and texts I was able to get pick-up delayed to 8am, but this was still three hours earlier than I requested. Additionally, I was assured I would be able to track the car as it moved across the country. I quickly learned that aside from calling the truck driver directly to ask where he was, there is no way to track a car. But the most frustrating part was final delivery. The company called to say the driver had arrived but could not get into my subdivision because of trees. "Okay", I thought, "that's understandable. I will just walk up to the front of the neighborhood and meet the truck and drive the car home." Easy enough. Except the truck was nowhere near my neighborhood. In fact, it was parked three miles away. So I had to drive to where the truck was. When I arrived I could not believe what I saw. The truck was parked and off-loading my car IN THE TURN LANE IN THE MIDDLE OF A MAJOR ROAD. Not a parking lot. Not the side of a road. The turn lane of a major road. With cars flying by. I called the company who not only did not apologize, but they defended their actions by saying, "Hey, what's the big deal, at least he's in the turn lane!" I told the driver to stop the off-load process and to follow me to a nearby school parking lot, which he did. That is where I took possession of my car. And I need to say the driver was very easy to work with. But the decision to drop the car off three miles from my house, and in the middle of the road (literally), makes me wonder if I picked the right company. Not sure I did. read more

Order # 1297359-FV. This order was placed on May 22 for a pick up on June 1 or June 2. Price $1100.00. After I booked the order And receive my initial order confirmation email, I heard nothing after that initial email. So I began calling Nexus On May 29. I am coordinating logistics between several different people, myself the buyer the seller etc... Therefore, information and communication is essential for planning. I was told they had not found a driver yet and they would call me as soon as they did. I heard nothing the following day, so I began to call nexus once a day seeking updates or information so that I could coordinate schedules and logistics. Every day I received the same answer no driver yet (may 29,30,31, June 1). I initiated a phone call every day. On June 2, the last day of the projected pick up window I was told when I called them that day that they had a driver, however I would need to pay $1850.00. Despite the fact that nexus advertises no price changes, no surprise fees!!! I immediately declined to pay more than my quoted rate and 10 minutes later I called back and requested to cancel my entire order due to their lack of communication and the attempt to raise the price. I was told because I was still within the window of the projected pick up (up until June 2nd end of day). And I would be charged a $75 early cancellation fee. I said fine, so I will cancel tomorrow. Miraculously, a few minutes later, I received the first phone call during the entire process that was initiated by nexus... Supposedly they now had a driver who was willing to take the vehicle for the quoted amount $1100.00 and that I would be receiving a phone call from that driver later that day to set up time for pick up for the following day June 3rd. By the evening of June 2 that same day I had received no communication from the supposed driver So I called the number provided in the email that they sent when they confirmed the driver and received no answer, I left a message and never received any response. June 3rd, today the day of the pick up as of 11 o'clock in the morning I had still received no information about a pick up time from the driver. So once again, I had to initiate a call to nexus and request information they said they would contact the driver and call me back.... They never called me back... approximately 10 minutes later I had to call them again and was informed that the driver didn't answer and they had left a message. At this point, I requested to cancel the entire transaction because I'm receiving no communication and it's becoming impossible for me to manage the schedule and logistics of all the people involved in this transaction when there is no information being provided to me and an entire lack of communication. At this point, I was told very aggressively by the agent that I would be charged the $120.00 Deposit to the driver if I cancelled. So now I'm dealing with a company that is a day late for the pick up, has never once proactively reached out to communicate to me since I booked their services, and who has attempted to raise the price once, and threaten me with early cancellation fees twice!!!! When I expressed, I was frustrated with their lack of service and lack of communication and expressed to the agent how unacceptable this lack of professionalism and lack of communication was they miraculously contacted the driver and gave me a supposed two hour pick up window for today June 3rd. I cannot understand all the positive reviews this company receives because my experience was completely different!!!! I highly recommend you use a different company. read more

Absolutely AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I debated between Nexus v. Navi due to their Forbes Business listing as being the top 2 rated transport companies. This is hardly the case. My original request was booked with a two-week window and I never spoke to the same person due to them being a broker and not an actual transport company. It was a highly stressful situation/high-stakes operative with a tight window and I received zero communication other than perfunctory booking confirmation email a week before the original schedule time. A day later/past the time I still received zero contact while I had a plane to catch the next day. There is no way to escalate calls/long hold periods all to be jerked around with no pick-up confirmation-- very unsettling! read more

Listen! I was very very very skeptical about using this company due to the reviews. I can honestly say that I did NOT experience any of the negative comments written. From start to finish, the experience was more than pleasurable. I originally spoke with Brian who held my hand throughout the whole relocation process. Although the initial carrier who was assigned to deliver the car let me down, with the excuse that the car won't fit on the truck. Brian and his team immediately found another carrier that same day! (who was amazing). The carrier was very informative and responding with accurate information. I recommend that Nexus use them all the time! I wasn't charged anything extra they did NOT scam me out of money! They fulfilled their promise and delivered my car safely and in the same condition. I will surely use them again!!! I chose this company because it had good reviews so I feel strongly that I share my experience. Please be aware that you will have to have a ride to drop off and pick up your vehicle with this company. This is the fourth time I've shipped a vehicle and the first time they could not get it close enough for me to even walk to retrieve or drop it off. They explained it was because of the size of their transport truck, but the same size trucks have delivered all of my vehicles to the same address. I do NOT blame this on the drivers. It appears to be an office/dispatch decision. They called the night before the arrival with the address for pick up. I had to reschedule my drop off for 2 days later because I didn't have a ride to it. This is a significant factor if you are shipping your personal car. Other than that, the transport went well.
