After viewing his sculptural pieces, we felt a bit nibblish and he recommended getting a bite at the Cafe of the Textielmuseum, which was located just a 3-min walk up the road from the gallery his exhibition was at. So the 3 of us made our way here, and so this review is for the cafe only, but I really liked the variety of items displayed in the cafe, so actually wouldn't mind checking out the Textielmuseum at all, when have more time. We arrived at the cafe around 3:30ish and they closed at 5pm, so just wasn't enough time that day. Staff were super friendly and they had an English menu (gotta ask for it tho'). I can almost never pass up a Pate and so got this menu item with lovely dark brown bread, chutney and a bit of greens for €6. It was delicious! I also tried a bit of the Warm Goat cheese & Walnut salad which was really refreshing. I think what struck me most was how cost average price was easily more cheaper than Amsterdam, with menu items being priced more in the ~€10 range in the big smoke, rather than the ~€6 they were here, in a country town! Oh by the way, do want to also mention again the clever art touches located in the cafe like the yarn spindle as our table centerpiece, or the oversized chairs with beautiful cloth woven between them, as well as the gorgeous tablecloths! This should go without saying, but don't come here expecting to profit. For €20, you get 5 free games. If you get a new card and sign up with your e-mail, you get another 5 free games. The free plays don't have a restriction on machine, so I would use your free plays on the more expensive machines (for example, the coin pusher and Kung Fu Panda Dojo are both €1.29). Oh, for 300 tickets you can get a soda. If nothing else, at least you won't be thirsty. Knocking a star down because I saw a lot of machines advertised on their website, but the Eindhoven location was apparently the only one that didn't have the majority of the newer machines added to the other locations.

The bathrooms are in the right places. There are bars within convenient reach for most of the arena. It's just smart. Acoustics and lights were good, show was really good. So the 013 is mostly GA standing only, but the back of the room does have a series of raised "step" type platforms ... that offer an option for sitting down or at least having a place to sit down if you'd like to alternate sitting and standing. Being in the back of the room, it's also a little more chill than the rail. The venue also has a balcony upstairs but you pretty much need to get up there and hold your spot for the whole show if you're doing that. The venue also has those cool locker systems that we've only encountered in Europe. For my American friends: You scan the QR code posted around the lockers or use the pin pad terminal to rent a locker. Then you get to set a code and the machine tells you which locker will now be yours and then you go off and use your code to lock and unlock the locker for the night. Very slick. I chose to hang in the back on the riser area. It was great because there is a bar right back there and toilets right near the bar. So you never have to go too far for anything. The view is pretty good, especially for us shorties. I don't know why all men in Europe are like 7' tall but they are all giraffes. I also discovered a secret spot that I don't mind sharing since I probably won't be back to this venue any time soon... on each side of the riser area, there's a big beam that comes down vertically along the wall. If you position yourself right in front of that beam, there's a little ledge formed where you can either stand and put your back up against the beam for support or sit and basically have a backrest. Best seat in the house. Staff was really friendly and the crowd was also really friendly. We'd definitely come back.

I came here because they offer €6 movies every Tuesday (as far as I can tell, it's for any movie…read moreincluding 3D movies) and the VIP seats cost €8.20 (they certainly look fancier). The regular seats are decent, can't complain. The 3D glasses are still €1.50 each, but it's optional if you already have your own. I love that they don't upcharge for mandatory glasses. If you're used to American movie theaters, I highly recommend looking at the concession stand menu beforehand. The options for what you can purchase is mind blowing. Around the middle of the movie there was a break in which you could stretch your legs, use the bathroom and resupply on snacks. Our movie was two hours so I definitely appreciated the intermission. Our movie had after-credits and the movie attendant was the one that came in and told everyone. I honestly would have never guessed, since I'm only used to after-credits in Marvel movies. They even dimmed the lights for the after-credit scene! All in all, worth every buck!

This stadium and team has a ton of history and is continually one of the best tickets in the area. If recommend hitting up a game of the team is in town and the season is upon you.
