The hype has gone down but I still wanted to try it since it's been in the area for a little while now. I ended up getting the Mediterranean bowl with the Pork Gyro as a protein. I really loved the bowl -pork (on the side), lettuce, rice, tomatoes, cucumbers, toum sauce, pickled onions and fried chickpeas and hummus. Ordered a Uber Eats pick up order and ate it at the restaurant. I got a falafel bowl for the next day, and a falafel pita to eat in the restaurant. The food was very tasty, I really like their tzatziki. They had a red hot sauce which was quite zingy, not necessarily spicy but was also a tasty addition. The restaurant has a lot of open seating and the employees are so so nice! They make you feel at home and give you time and attention with care. Not common for a fast casual restaurant. I will say I got a good deal on Uber Eats, but feel that the standard restaurant pricing is a bit higher. However, they do give a lot! The baklava is so yummy tooo! I'd definitely come back to get my quick Greek fix. read more

I like how they had self ordering machines and you can see the kitchen. Any place that allows you to view the kitchen has to be clean. Good drink options. The ambiance is good but they have people sleeping in there which wasn't a good look. There was a lady in the kitchen with no gloves just eating food while working which was weird. For the food part- the time I waited wasn't long. Took about 5 mins the gyro itself was great. I like how the fries are in it. Some places don't do that. Finding good Greek food in Houston is practically impossible imo. I am a very big fan of Niko Niko's and Ekko's as well as a big fan of Nick The Greek now too. I went here two days in a row, one lunch takeout consisting of a Gyros Sandwich, extra tomato with fries and a Gyros Plate with Rice last night for dinner. When it comes to bbq, I always get the plate never sandwich almost ever. However, with gyros, usually the opposite, until last night, bc plates often have hard, chippy pieces as opposed to succulent in most places. Both orders were very delicious, very fresh, good quality, well-seasoned without being too greasy, salty or dry. Both very generous in portions too. The taziki sauce was cool n tasted aromatic in a good way, which is a strong indicator the gyros will be done right from all my experiences in Greek places. I actually prefer the Gyros Plate more since every piece was so consistent, moist and well-cut. Very good meat and mildly seasoned rice. It was golden yellow, loose and sticky at the same time, juicy and very good imo. I am more of a rice person than fries, so I would get this more often with meals. The tomatoes were very red, cool and refreshing with a great taste to contrast the rest. The fries with the sandwich order were very tasty, fresh, soft, crispy and had a nice rosemary vibe. They tasted hand-cut imo. You could actually taste the potato base without excess grease like fast food fries. The pita bread in both orders was very warm, tasty, slightly crispy and a tad oily. Bottom line, everything on both visits was excellent. The service from the lady I came across at the counter was so welcoming, kind, friendly, hospitable and efficient. You can really tell she's a genuine people person with the way she speaks to customers. When I am in this side of town again, I will also try their chicken skewers n burger next. Their Greek donut holes if I saw correctly looked great to get afterwards for dessert. read more

First visit: My first impression was this place is very clean, plenty of windows and light, with Greek music playing. The cashier taking my order was pleasant. I went to get my drink while they were preparing my order. My options were sweet tea, Pepsi and other sodas, and strawberry dragon fruit tea. I chose the strawberry dragon fruit tea and I'm glad I did. It was delicious! When my order was ready, a server brought it to me at my table. I ordered the Gyro Beef Plate. It came with a Greek salad with Feta cheese, crisp lettuce, sliced red onion, tomatoes, and some delicious olives. The gyro plate was huge. It had a very large portion of tender sliced gyro meat, Taztziki sauce, sliced red onion, sliced tomatoes, pita bread cut into triangles, and some of the best French fries. The server told me they make their fries fresh and you can tell. They were delicious! I had to get a box for what I couldn't eat. Like I said earlier, the portion was huge. My friend ordered the Chicken Gyro and thought it was very good. She thoroughly enjoyed the Baklava dessert while honey was dripping from her hands. Everything was fresh and delicious. Misleading "2 for 1" Deal - Then Refused Refund I ordered through the DoorDash because the restaurant was advertising a "2 for 1 meal deal." I specifically ordered two of those deals, which should have meant receiving four meals in total. Instead, the order that arrived only contained one of each. In other words, the promotion advertised in the app simply wasn't honored. I contacted support immediately and even provided screenshots from the DoorDash app clearly showing the order and the "2 for 1" deals. Despite this proof, DoorDash escalated the case and then came back saying they denied the refund after "reviewing all the details." So to summarize: * The app advertises 2‑for‑1 deals * You place the order exactly as shown * You receive only half of what you paid for * You show them screenshots of the order * They still deny the refund Five of us were part of this order and all of us were shocked by how this was handled. Instead of fixing a very obvious mistake, they simply closed the case and refused responsibility. If a company advertises a promotion and doesn't deliver what was sold, and then refuses to correct it even when the customer provides proof, that says a lot about how they treat their customers. I strongly recommend double‑checking your order and expectations if you use DoorDash, because based on this experience, the promotions shown in the app may not be honored--and getting help afterward might be impossible. read more

Closest thing I can get to the famous Niko Niko's on the opposite side of town. Lots of food for the price, and the workers have always been very nice and make sure everything is going well. One worker loves the company so much she drives 50 mins away to work here, and they help support her ill daughter. Environment is quiet and comfortable. I recommended! read more
