Due to late RSVP's the number of guests continually increased the week before the event requiring several calls to the store to increase and then restart a new order. Both Selio and Carolyn were immediately available, so helpful and extremely pleasant with each change. Selio personally delivered the order to my home. The food was yummy and perfect for the vibe of the event. The customer service I received was flawless. I'm usually a huge fan of Nick the Greek! Their Mediterranean salad, crispy fries, and creamy hummus have consistently pleased my palate. I've always appreciated the fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, which made me a regular customer. But here I am at 2026, shaking my head, wondering what happened to the original vibrant flavors and the restaurant's knack for impressing diners. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, hoping it would taste the same as it always has, with generous chunks of feta cheese, ripe olives, and a well-balanced vinaigrette. But I can honestly say I was extremely disappointed. They used to include large, crumbly blocks of feta cheese that I could crunch up and enjoy with the olives. This time, I received a salad with only about three small olives and shredded Parmesan cheese. I added my own vinaigrette, along with salt, pepper, and olive oil, but that barely enhanced the flavor. The taste seemed really off, reminiscent of week-old vegetables that had been sitting in the fridge too long, losing their freshness. I'm sorry, Nick the Greek, but this time I have to say you failed me. NOV2025 We've ordered delivery from here a couple of different times and popped in once or twice since they've opened. Usual suspect for us would be the lamb/gyro bowl or gyro bowl. We've also gotten a chicken pita, the mediterranean bowl, and the side salad. Fries don't really travel well so we've refrained from getting those unless we're actually there. The lamb/gyro bowl has usually been solid since the meat has been good. The chicken pita the meat was pretty dry unfortunately so we've ventured away from that one. I liked the mediterranean bowl for the crispy chickpeas. It'd usually be a lot of lettuce and rice though and not enough of the other veggies. There's different inconsistencies with the food and what you get on that end balance wise. Adding veggies or just the regular included veggies would not amount to much, but feels worse so if it's a cost. We've also gotten the sauce and fries on the side since usually the fries wouldn't be worth it delivery wise, and the sauce on the side makes things easier to control. read more

So good! I ordered for pick up for my partner to grab on his way home for us. Ordering was made super easy off of their website. When we got home we dug right in. He loved his gyro, it was a great size and he said all the flavor were spot in. I would say the same for my Mediterranean bowl. It was the perfect amount of food. A handful of fresh veggies and spreads laid out over a bed of dressed kale and rice. The falafels were fluffy and warm too, not dried out like a lot I come to find. I've heard about this chain a couple of years and finally decided to try it tonight. The Santa Rosa location offers plenty of parking and it's quite easy for navigating with a disability. The service was good with one person at the register and able to take incoming customers at a reasonable pace. The restaurant itself was rather hot, which led to us choosing to do takeout instead of eating in. The ambience is blue and white as I would expect being a Greek restaurant. Honestly, Greek is my jam and this was very much and not great fast food version of things I love. My husband had the lamb and beef gyro plate. I was pleased to see that our plates came with side salads. That was probably the biggest part of what I liked about the meal. He liked his meat as he felt it wasn't too greasy. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate which came with two chicken skewers. Unfortunately, the chicken was basically cooked to death and so dry that I needed to douse it with the tzatziki. The tomato and onion salad on the plate did not have any flavor or seasoning at all. Huge pieces of tomato and too much onion. I was also bothered by the tzatziki as it was very salty, and contained two or three pieces of small cucumber bits. My expectations of this Greek specialty are pretty high, but this was a fairly low showing. The side salad was more of a highlight, even though it was also very basic. I ended up mixing the salad with the dry chicken. Overall, if I had to choose between that and regular fast food, I would choose it because they offer good side salads. read more

Talk about being at the right place at the right time. I feel in late Saturday night after the heat knocked me down! I was treated like Yelp royalty once I shared I was a Yelp Elite. Ehh - not sure what all the hype is about. I've been wanting to try this chain since the "coming soon" sign was posted. Hubby is not a fan of Greek food - so I had to wait. I went with a girlfriend this afternoon for lunch. The place was clean and young man working the counter friendly. The falafels were DRY and hard. You absolutely needed the sauce to eat them.. they should sell sauce with side of falafel as the flavor was in the sauce. I wouldn't get again - my friend was indifferent to them. My gyro - packed full of meat. Unfortunately the meat was mostly thin, dry/ over cooked. Im sure the meat was sliced prior (hours, night before or maybe arrived this way from commissary, but it tasted like it had been in a pan for awhile, reheated as the cook was inconsistent. I missed the balance of onion and tomato as the veg was sparse and not all bites had that tangy flavor and texture. The pita was fresh and beautiful. They wanted to put fries in it - I've never had fries in gyros in the past - I opted to get them on the side. Shoestring cut, unseasoned, cold fries. My friend got another gyro that was packed full of veggies along with (chicken?) it looked fresh and delicious. We shared the pistachio baklava. I came in around 1:30 and made a To Go order, I ordered the beef/lamb gyro and their soup. The gyro was very delicious the meat was tender and flavorful and all the veggies were nice and fresh, the fries were a bit soggy but had a nice tzatziki sauce, my only complaint was the pita bread was a bit hard but I suppose that's because it was to go and my meal sat for a minute while I drove back to the office. The soup broth was very good with that nice lemon flavor but it was only the broth and rotisserie chicken chunks that kinda caught me off guard as I guess I was expecting rice and veggies but still the flavor was very nice. I think what really made my decision was the pics with the fries in the gyros so I ordered the lamb/beef gyro combo with greek fries and a drink. Get back to work okey the box and it looks pretty tasty. I grabbed a fry and first thing I notice, it's soft, no crunch to it whatsoever. So the fries I'm sorry for me personally was a fail.
