We put in an emergency request within Yelp for an electrician for a circuit breaker problem. From Yelp, the request goes out and electricians respond. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. Nick arrived right around the agreed appointment time and even called a couple of hours beforehand to give me a heads-up, which I really appreciated. I had asked him to install a Tesla wall charger, but since I'm completely new to this, I made the mistake of not purchasing the charger ahead of time--I thought it was included with the installation (oops!). I was pretty bummed when I realized he couldn't proceed without it. Thankfully, I was able to purchase the charger the same day, and Nick was kind enough to come back later that same day to install it. That level of flexibility was amazing--I was so relieved I didn't have to reschedule. On top of that, he identified several burnt-out breakers and fixed them at a very reasonable price. Nicks electric showed after about a week of requests. The worker gave us a little above average quote but we went ahead with the work. We purchased a 30amp plug with a breaker inside the plug box that was not wired in. We found out after the worker left the breaker inside the 30amp box was not connected. We called nicks electric and were told there was a wire missing and that was why it wasn't connected. It would have been nice to know this before he installed or even before he left. There was also small sharp scrap metal pieces left on the ground where the work was performed and not cleaned up. read more

This is my second positive review for this business. Recently, we experienced flickering lights and intermittent loss of power. I contacted Nico on a Sunday, and he scheduled us for the following day. Not Nick, he was what customer service is supposed to be. Scam artists! I called and repeatedly asked for quotes after telling him what I needed to have done. Said he would give a quote on arrival. After arriving 5 minutes before I told him I was scheduled to leave for an hour and his technician seeing that I had all the materials and simply needed installation he quoted me $800. I declined the service, suddenly the quote went down to $550. I said I wasn't interested. Then they complained about having driven all the way from Riverside. Doubtful, but that's why I asked for a quote ahead of time. But all the sudden I'm wasting his time when he will not give a quote before arriving. Then there were stories of misquoting because they thought I needed supplies even though they quoted a price after seeing I had already purchase everything that was needed. Then the price suddenly went down to $400. And I said I would not be rewarding their scam with the job and in no way was I going to leave their technician alone in my home for an hour. Hire at your own peril and know that the first quote you get is double the actual cost of the job. Bad businesses like this should be drummed out of business. So sad they feel that taking advantage of people is business as usual for them. Shame on you Nick! read more
