I reserved for Nov 21, a 20 ft truck…read moreand refrigerator dolly, furniture dolly, 12 furniture pads with truck pick up at this location and drop off at Popps Ferry Rd, Biloxi, 24 hr rental. Gave my debit card and all other required information. Received confirmation number, no problems until Nov 21 when attempting to pick up. I was informed that I wasn't getting a refrigerator dolly which was a very important part of my move, would never have reserved the truck without it. The salesman called around to find one, when told my son we are dropping truck at Popps Ferry U-Haul. Salesman stated "no, it has to be brought back to his store, he had another reservation for 4 pm on Nov 22." I told him the reservation was made with this condition, he insisted I had to return it to him. I was listening to him calling another store and asking if they had an appliance dolly instead of the refrigerator dolly (you can not move a refrigerator on an appliance dolly, I had already asked him that). He hung up and told me I could get the dolly at the other Ocean Springs stop and asked me for my debit card for the seventh time. He had been trying to check me out throughout this process. I believed he was trying to trick me into checking out and I wouldn't find out it wasn't a refrigerator dolly until it was too late. Needless to say I cancelled the rental, apparently reservations for dollys and drop off conditions mean nothing. Definitely won't be doing business with One Stop in Ocean Springs. Very upsetting when you have to cancel due to their breaking of reservation contract, have to cancel workers and delay move.

Long version: My BF and I came here to rent a truck since I currently live around the block and am moving just about 2 miles up the road. The cashier was extremely rude when I asked to rent a U-haul. She seemed like she was in a foul mood, and had her back turned to me the entire time as she was mumbling questions to build my contract. I couldn't hear one of the questions she asked, so I asked 'I'm sorry, can you repeat that?", and she just let out a irritated sigh and re-asked her question in a very agitated, slightly louder tone. This made me feel like a mother trying to ask her angsty teenager how their day was. About 4 questions into observing this interaction, my bf asked if there was another location we could go to, but I persisted- we were already here... why drive around searching for another place? I inquired if they had a drop box for the key, as we weren't going to need the truck for long, and she sighed, rolled her eyes and said that they did, but it's broken. Alright, no prob. Again, I currently live around the block, so I could just stop by the next morning to drop off the key. The truck itself was relatively new, clean, and rode really smoothly. Come morning to return the keys, the same cashier showed up late to open. Two other customers had already arrived before me and had been waiting outside. Overall, if you have a moderate tolerance for bad attitudes, take advantage of the convenience of this location. Otherwise, my suggestion is to go elsewhere.

We have been on hold with Penske road-side assistance over 50 Minutes and holding. This is really causing tremendous additional expense in hotel, food and worker costs. Now I have a fully loaded broken down truck waiting for roadside assistance. Right now I am trying to get another vendor to get a truck to continue our trip. We called reservations, the only number that has answered, but they said basically said tuff luck. Finally after 2 hours on hold, we got a Penske rep, Alan, he asked some questions and we gave him some numbers from our rental agreement. Allan was extremely professional and courteous. He has gone over and above the call of duty. He is trying to get help for us tonight. I will try and update. We leased this truck from Elite Autobrokers in Ocean Springs, MS. They would receive 0 stars if I could rate them. The saga continues, we finally get a Roadside Assistance person from Penske at 9 PM and he plugs his computer into our Penske truck. Dee was the individual's name. Very competent and professional. He ascertained that our truck was unrepairable at the scene. At 1 AM a new truck arrives, without our knowledge, and is parked across the street from where our drivers were staying. We only found out by happenstance. Hopefully we can unload the broken truck, load the new one and get out of dodge. As the adventure unfolds I will update. Don't have a clue how Penske survives
