Review # 90. (MD Medical Tower MWC)…read more Location: At the corner of Reno Ave and Midwest Blvd, behind the Midwest City (MWC) library, MWC Police Dept, MWC Community Center, and MWC PO; east of Walgreens. Bldg: The medical Bldg is a 4-story, tan/beige brick Bldg. Everything inside is also a bland tan/beige with a 70's look. There is one location for the 2 sets of elevators, after you come in the back parking entrance. They are relatively normal speed. Hand sanitizer provided after you enter Bldg. The Bldg is clean minus some trash like drink bottles and plastic that rude lazy people left instead of taking to throw in the trash cans or take back to their car to dispose of their own trash. Lobby: there are cushioned chairs & couches to sit in spaced out, but not really arranged in a Covid19 kind of 6-feet apart, feng shui we've all come to know and love ( not-we hate it). There is space in the middle so they should move the chairs around better. There's also a podium platform where I guess they can have Bldg meetings or if you're crazy, I guess you can get on it and sing and dance for people as they wait and entertain them with your kind of crazy. There are paintings along the walls to add some color to the bland, beige walls. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces and a few handicap spaces. ****PS: please for the love of God and humanity and actually being a kind and considerate person, please only use the handicapped parking spaces if you or anyone in your car is actually physically handicapped; meaning you need a wheelchair, walker, or cane and have trouble walking. Don't use your handicap parking sticker if you have a broken arm but can walk easily or just because you had a broken arm or leg in the past or have a family member who has the sticker but you have it in your car and they aren't with you, and you just want to get a close parking spot. Don't use it when you're being pathetically lazy and privileged and expect the real handicapped to have to walk further and take longer and be in more pain because your only handicap is that you're LAZY, SELFISH, PATHETIC, and PRIVILEGED. I see this everywhere and it makes me so mad. Be glad I don't have a Humvee as I might have to be a citizen police and "move" your car for you, then your car would be handicapped like your brain. Medical: There are doctors and clinics for allergy, digestive, heart, cardiovascular, etc. Bathrooms are located on 1st floor behind lobby seating. On the upper floors they are located directly above the ground floor bathrooms. Posted on Thurs, 10 Jun 2021

Note...Tinker AFB is on high alert meaning the "Trusted Visitor" option is not acceptable. So I had to go and get a guest pass. While there, they informed me that if I had a VHIC, I would be able to access with it anytime. So to VA I went! In addition, Diana provided valuable information ALL vets need to know. I was only enlisted so I can't "command" anything...just hope you'll go!

I was approached by a man that I will call "Doctor Dontbelieveyou". I told "Doctor Dontbelieveyou" that I was in extreme pain and asked him for opiate pain relief. So, what happened next? Well of course "Doctor Dontbelieveyou" immediately assumes that I am a drug addict, faking extreme pain to obtain narcotics. From that moment on, "Doctor Dontbelieveyou" completely blew me off. This man did not visually look at me or even touch me. He gave me NO medical examination whatsoever! When I realized what was happening, I got up and walked out of the emergency room - in the same amount of pain as when I arrived. It is only by the grace of God that my gallbladder did not explode, before I found a REAL doctor to remove it. This visit to the VA Emergency Room is - by far - the most traumatic experience I have ever endured, and I will never get over it. By the way, don't waste your time complaining to the VA bigwigs - they will also assume you are a no-good lying drug addict. Shame on every single VA employee who refused to help me and may God repay each of them accordingly! PURVEYORS OF SOUL-CRUSHING APATHY!!! Drove alone through the dark in the early morning hours, to the Oklahoma City VA Hospital Urgent Care. I was experiencing a severe gallbladder attack. I was practically hysterical. I was approached by a woman that I will call "Nurse Nastyattitude". I told "Nurse Nastyattitude" that I was in extreme pain and asked her for opiate pain relief. At that point, "Nurse Nastyattitude" asked me if I wanted to kill myself. I answered that "I might, if I can't get this pain under control". How did "Nurse Nastyattitude" react to my answer? She immediately jumped my case! "It's a SERIOUS QUESTION", she said! I'm not quite sure which part of "I might kill myself" she thought was unserious, but apparently my potential impending suicide was quite the irritant to her mood! From the moment that I told her that I might kill myself, "Nurse Nastyattitude" should have taken immediate steps to arrange psychiatric evaluation and prevent self-harm. She should have called a professional from the psychiatry department to come down and get me, supervising me in her clinic until psychiatry arrived. But what did she do? Absolutely nothing. She chose to entirely ignore my suicidal ideation and completely blew me off. My physical and emotional pain were not taken seriously at all. I was allowed to leave the clinic in obvious distress (and horrible pain), all alone and with no safety plan. Extremely disturbing!!
