We did not spend a lot of time here as we had already visited a couple of other souvenir shops and we seen most of everything being sold here. The cashier was friendly which I think you have to have when working in a busy place like this. I paid cash for my postcards so I could not tell you what kind of credit cards they do or do not take.

It is the PERFECT place for buying gifts and everything is cheap. Keywords about the collection; funny, design, Scandinavian. The collection is a mix of those things and I'm sure almost everyone will like this place, I mean, what's not to like??? Maison NL is located in the Utrechtsestraat (one of my favourite streets in town!) and is filled with many beautiful and lovely items. I am in love with their dinnerware; very natural and rustic looking bowls, plates and glasses but also ones with birds painted on them. So pretty! They also sell very pretty candle stands with porcelain birds on them. I have to save some money for those :) At Maison NL you can also buy clothing, shoes and accessories, even books, but I think this place is mostly known for their home stuff. They sell some quite expensive stuff, but not everything is pricey. Even with a lower budget you have to able to find some very pretty things. Whenever I am strolling through the Utrechtsestraat I just have to go inside this shop to check if there is anything new. I suggest you do the same because this place is just great!
