My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap - he did say the buffalo sauce had a sweet taste and wasn't that spicy. While trying a number of other great eating spots there (Little Italy, The Place, Phillips Diner, etc), we never tried Vinn's Tavern, although we always used to drive by it. Finally this past week we gave it a try and were most impressed! Like many small town diners/taverns in New York state, Vinn's is a local watering hole with great comfort food. I was delighted with the chicken and biscuits on mashed potatoes and gravy. My wife had a most tasty ham sandwich with fries that were delightfully crunchy on the outside but wonderfully soft on the inside....probably the best we ever ate. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even provided us with a free pass for the bridge fare on the way back to Canada. Other customers recommended the wings and onion rings, which we will definitely try on our next trip there. All in all, a great little place with wonderful comfort food.
