So thank God for Novo which ticks all my boxes. Most shoes are around $79; they take note of the trends (my current faves are the sky-high, colour block, suede wedges in pink and red) and even the fash pack rate them (there's rarely an issue of a glossy mag that doesn't feature at least one pair of Novo pretties). And they don't mind if you mess up their shop either. I got a little giddy at the site of a heavily sequinned tote bag ($69.99) and left it all, including the cardboard inserts and plastic stand, sitting on top of a pair of shoes as I couldn't be bothered putting it away (naughty, I know). But the lovely manager just swept it all away with a smile, saying "lovely bag huh?" without even a hint of annoyance at the fact I'd messed up her shoe display. What really stood out to me was how i had a lot of delays on my end due to my situation, lee assured me each step of the way and even said she would get my bike to me on Easter Monday she has a re assuring determiner through out the situation which calmed the situation , to some it all up lee who i had contact with most of the time made this a positive experience when it could have turned out quite embarrassing on my end.

So try and visit on non peak time like after 10am but before lunch, or after lunch but before 5pm. Despite this, I still love it here. The girls who work here are so nice. Even when it's busy they make sure to get to everyone and help. Customer service is very important in shoe shops, because most times you want to try on different sizes, different colour, different styles and that's what they're here to help with. I'm a curvy size 10, and not only do they suck my Kardashian-sized arse in, but they also don't go baggy and saggy after wear. Her argument was that it was 32 degrees outside with 85% humidity. Sigh. Another thing that's won me over is that there always seems to be a mid-season sale on. And several racks of clothing with $20 off. And this store at Carindale is particularly spacious, well organised and rarely manic - I've never had to queue for a changing room, nor wait to be served at the till.
