An asian and woman owned small business. I love all the curated goods they offer from other small Asian owned businesses. They're dog friendly and have a great pet selection of (nose work) toys and treats! They also offer household items, stationery, and really anything and everything you can think of. My favorite is the wrapped gifts/surprise bags. You're getting a deal for the retail value inside vs. what you're actually paying for. Lots of different categories/bags. I ended up purchasing an embroidered pin and sticker. Definitely will be back. They have so many items that would make great gifts (especially for yourself, haha).

A great cute selection store that has merchandise from Japans and Korea. They had a good mix of traditional and modern items. You can also find a lot of items you wouldn't regularly find. The only reason I gave a 4 was that the Korean items seemed overpriced for what it's worth. But, a great place to get gifts if you need.

Please go support this awesome women owned small business full of Asian goodies!!! Kawaii gems everywhere!!! I had purchased a vintage lucky cat from Japan and the shop owner was so generous she gave me 3 more lucky cats (one she made herself) for me to decorate! She's originally a toy maker herself and the store is perfectly curated. If you need a gift from Japan or Korea then this is the store!!! We love Nikoniko!!!!

Super cute & unique gift store with the sweetest store owner. I read about the store in SF Standard & have walked past it but didn't have a chance to visit until today. Their window display shows a variety of cute items & store offers pet toys, skincare, home fragrance, unique Japanese pottery. I bought a cute toy for my friends cat, but it could be a dog toy & also bought a home fragrance incense that they were burning in the store. The store owner was super helpful too. I'll be back again to check out more things. Support local & women owned businesses!

Jessica saved the day! She is super talented and was able to perfectly wrap a very special gift in a traditional Korean gift wrap, bojagi, style. Very reasonably priced and excellent service! Will absolutely be back and maybe get a personal lesson on how to wrap things so beautifully. Thank you so much!

I walked by this spot and was immediately drawn in by the variety of items in the window. As soon as I walked in I knew I would be buying a few things (and indeed I did!). This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a cute gift or unique items for your home. All the items in the store are high quality, unique, and useful! I ended up getting a few toast spoon rests, little bowls for miso soup, the cutest small vase, teas, a magnet, and a luggage tag. The owner was also incredibly welcoming and kind. I definitely recommend stopping by!

small and mighty- this place is hard to miss. I found this gem when i was strolling on union street few months back when Nikoniko Gifts was new to the area. i was first attracted by the japanese stationary brands the store carries. Their collection of asian goodies made me feel just like home. i have been returning for prints/cards and home fragment, and my dog love the treats they carries. The owner Jessica is so good at remembering names - she recognise my dog and i when we revisit. She can basically name out every single returning customer and dogs around the neighborhood that walk pass, which is very impressive to me. Besides knowing all the backstory of her wide range of inventory, Jessica is very resourceful too - she gave me some good tips for to groom and train my dog - never could have expected that from a gift store owner around the corner. ("more than just a gift store" , ok, very true) the shop has a high ceiling and is very well lit with daylight. modular wood shelving all against the wall adds a feel of clean and sleek to the interior furnishing and the products are like decor-for-display in the store - definately a thoughtfully curated space. they rotate the brands and products they carries, and the space also transform to host event such as wrapping classes/ workshops from time to time. i can play the "spot the difference" game and find something new everytime - gotta go back to check out their new inventory again soon. just another happy place for me.

One neighborhood which always gets a reputation of being stuck up is the Marina. If you ever spend enough time in the Marina this notion is false. The Marina showed true grit and resilience after the 1989 San Francisco earthquake. I seen a lot of people get loose and have some fun in the Marina especially on Chestnut street( this includes adventures with the cool Don Juan himself). There are plenty of places to enjoy some of good food and drinks. There is one place which you will see the sense of humor of the Marina and the city of San Francisco and it's called Ei Home on Chestnut street. On a Spring stroll in Marina in the San Francisco sun I landed on Chestnut street at Ei home . Inside you will find some interesting novelties for sale. They have hats and bags with different designs . You can even find a laptop sleeve and some colorful towels . They have lot of humorous novelty items. This feels like terrible marketing and customer service to not make it right or attempt to. Do not buy this product if you want a smooth recline and are looking for the leg and head recline to be independent of one another. It's not comfortable. The only thing it's got going for it is it's beautiful. I wish I would have never bought this because now my only option is returning with a 50% restocking fee. I purchased this chair with GoFundMe money so this is no small price tag for me and it seems like terrible customer service and marketing to not make this right.

I had two shopping bags and my service animal, who has never exhibited any aggression. I understand that the store may have limited space. Had the owner respectfully asked me to leave my bags behind the counter or wait to enter due to crowding, I would have been happy to comply. Especially since I noticed another dog in the store. Instead, he dismissed me in a confrontational manner without offering any reasonable alternatives. Before leaving, I informed the employee that my dog is a service animal and that it is illegal to deny entry to customers with service animals. In response, he became defensive and raised his voice. As I exited the store, I overheard him telling other customers--who had witnessed the incident--that my dog was aggressive. This claim is completely false. My service animal has accompanied me for nearly a decade and has never once displayed aggression. It appears the owner discriminated against my service animal based on his perceived breed, as he is a pit mix. Such behavior is both unacceptable and unlawful, and I intend to hold this store accountable for this disgusting incident.
