The food (a hamburger with fries) was cooked well and paired well with the local beer. Definitely a neighborhood gem. Speaking of gems... I just want to thank Lily, our lovely bartender, who made us feel at home. We had a fun chat about nature and areas of study. I love interacting with friendly locals, they share their worldview and make you feel at home. The owner was quite friendly, though as I mentioned, it is quite small inside. While they do have food (which includes a takeaway stall facing the main road). The inside is pretty cool with lots of British memoriabilia covering the walls. In fact it isn't one of those traditional English pubs that you see in Australia since the theme is actually modern Britian as opposed to a traditional Britain. While it is a bit of a hike from my hotel, I do like it and its nice cosy atmosphere and would have no problem heading back here again (not that I have time to though).
