Besides the personal service and consulting you are able to find rare and special stuff at this shop. a whole bar of hummus (original, chilli, wasabi... etc) is standing next to a press where you can get fresh pressed sugar cane juice - i never thought to be able to find that in the middle of Vienna!! another discovery of my visit today were fresh green coconuts from jamaica. last time i saw such a thing was at a beach in brazil. Today I had a fresh pressed Titan Juicy (i think i remember right) with figs, oranges and limes, deliciouse. In winter they also do have stuff hard to find in normal supermarkets, its worth to stop by there, when you need something for a recipe. Prizes are absolutely good and as my experience tells me, there is always someone standing in line already :) thats a good sign, but a little annoying when you are in a hurry - but in order to keep that store open, there must be good business. It clearly is appealing to the health-conscious. There is also a small eat-in area on the upper level. As usual in specialty markets, prices are not low but quality is high. And though the Naschmarkt is but a couple of minutes away, this store is def succeeding in attracting it's own customer base.

Just plain simply great. Farmer's products from bread, meat, sausages, flowers etc. are offered. You can also get handcraft depending ont he season. But no matter when you go there people are always friendly. The place is always very busy. Best times to go there early in the morning and just before closing, sometimes you get quite good bargains at the end of their day. Hats off!!!
