Haven't had kombucha in a long time so I decided to check out this place while I was in the area. I was debating between the blueberry lavender and the ginger lemon so the staff actually gave me a mini sample. I liked the lemon gingwr more because it was more refreshing and almost felt like a cross over between ginger beer and kombucha! But I ended up getting both! The lemon ginger actually won an award too! I loved the colorful patterns on their cans and the cute decor in and outside. Im glad I stumbled upon this place because it seems like a great drinks/meet-up location alternative and because their kombucha was very tasty! Will return if I'm in the area again :)

My absolute favorite kombucha!! I tried it my first time at the big market rva. The people that work for them are so friendly and always give me great recommendations!

They do flights of Kombucha! Very yummy. It's a super cute space and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Definitely stop by Ninja Kombucha if you enjoy Kombucha. They do cans/cases/6 packs to go or they have a rotating draft. Very cute spot and friendly staff

My first experience with Kombucha! I've been interested in kombucha for its probiotic properties but assumed it would be too tart or bitter to enjoy. Not the case with Ninja Kombucha. The employee was kind enough to explain the process of kombucha making and allowed me to sample all of their assorted flavors. While blackberry hibiscus was my favorite, I enjoyed every single option. This business is a great addition to the neighborhood to a block you must stroll down (peruse Scrap RVA, enjoy some Ruby Scoops, admire the pottery at Hand Thrown). I will definitely be keeping an eye out for their products in stores!

Their "build-your-own" flight setup is genius--you choose anywhere from 2 to 10 tasters, and pricing is based on the beer you pick. Each one is clearly labeled on the menu at the bar, making it super easy to mix, match, and share. My boyfriend and I grabbed a couple each and built our own "couples flight." Highly recommend this approach if you're rolling deep with friends--rounds for the win! Now the beer. The Mango Gose was light and fruity without the pucker-punch, and the Cherry Cobbler Sour was refreshingly chill with just a little tang. But the real MVP? The Lucky Charms marshmallow beer. YES, it was bright green. YES, it smelled like it should be in a cereal bowl. And YES, it tasted like childhood nostalgia with a buzz. I was skeptical... and then I was converted. My boyfriend enjoyed several IPAs and gave them two enthusiastic hops up. Food-wise, no kitchen here--but they rotate food trucks/food setups, which keeps things fresh. They also offer the cutest little snack jars--1 for $2 or all 3 for $5. Just enough to crave that sweet (or salty) tooth! Gummy worms, M&Ms, trail mix... it's giving snack bar meets brewery energy, and I'm into it. The space is big inside with an eclectic, funky vibe (some weird wall decor, but we'll call it personality), and a solid outdoor area with long beer garden tables. Plenty of room to sip, snack, and stay a while. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I day drink the day away here if I had more time? Without hesitation. Just shy of five stars because it's missing food on-site consistently, but the drinks, snacks, and vibe totally make it worth the visit. Lucky Charms beer forever.

I ordered a flight of all the tart beers and found them unique. The Lucky Charms one is unique and tastes like the cereal. The cider is excellent and I loved the Razzle sour ale. So refreshing! The space is one big room with plenty of tables and a corner of games. Most of the games are broken and come with missing pieces. The service was efficient and friendly enough. Staff didn't seem thrilled to have three kids at the brewery, but alas.

We ended up sitting at the bar for a couple beers and dinner. The outside vibe had fire pits and Adirondack chairs with some tables. From the minute, we entered to the moment we laughed. We were thoughtfully waited on by all the staff. Falcon smash is always my go to beer when I go there and this grilled chicken Parmesan sandwich was amazing. Definitely worth a stop when you're Midlothian Virginia.

I've followed this brewery on social media for a few months and have noticed their pictures consistently feature pours with an inordinate amount (2-3") of head on them. As someone who absolutely hates foam, I asked up front for no head. The bartender winced and explained they had to pour that way or they'd get in trouble because the ownership "wants the aroma expressed." I was taken aback...not only by the total lack of regard for the customer but for levying that threat against an employee. I was waiting to meet someone somewhere else for dinner, and put aside my disdain and capitulated as I didn't want anyone getting in trouble over a beer. So, I figured I'd make the most of things out on the patio. Alas, you can't take glass out in the patio, only plastic cups. What?!? If this were a college bar on a Friday night, sure - pour into plastic. But happy hour in Midlothian? The bartender did say they could pour no foam for a plastic cup though, which I thought was funny - they're so precious about their beer the foam is mandatory, but yeah, just dump it in plastic for the patio. All in all, a negative experience and one I won't repeat. My advice is to give the customer what they want, don't threaten employees, and eat the cost of a few broken glasses. To be clear: I get the notion of aromas and such, but this isn't Russian River or Alchemist, or even The Veil (none of which have foam mandates). I could even understand if they were busy (I was the only one ordering), but I wouldn't have asked for a longer pour under those circumstances. The beers are average regionals and customer service and good treatment of employees are non-negotiables. I hope ownership sees this and chills out; the person who pays for the beer dictates the pour, not you.
