I had an excellent experience here today. I phoned to check if I needed an appointment for a piercing, but it wasn't required, although I was advised of a good time to arrive, so it would give them sufficient time to assist me. When I arrived their service was professional, caring and helpful from start to finish. They helped me select the right location for my piercing, the jewellery they would use (from their excellent and varied range) and then they gave me extensive information. My piercer, Scott, was a consummate professional. He really treated me considerately. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting body piercing. Thank you, well done to everyone. read more

I, like most people, was sceptical about how much better a piercing service could be for this price. This experience makes me deeply regret ever going to a cheaper studio. The piercing was so quick and surprisingly pain-free, despite being notorious for being one of the more painful. I believe this is down to the far superior jewellery, equipment and qualifications they have. The piercing was cleanly done and exactly where it was supposed to be, and there was no extremely tight clamp or pulling and pinching to put jewellery in. The piercing also hardly bled at all which is a pleasant change from the torrent of blood one usually experiences at a cheap location. The staff here are very professional and friendly, the shop is very calming and aesthetically pleasing and their selection of premium quality jewellery is beautiful. This is so worth the extra money for such a gentle and healthier experience. read more

History
Established in 2009.
Ninjaflowers focus is quality and over the last few years has been working towards creating a welcoming, comfortable and creative environment. With almost 3 decades of piercing experience, our piercer is imported from the US and is Wellingtons only member of The Association of Professional Piercers.
Meet the Business Owner: Esther M.
Scott Jania, piercing technician since 1993 and Esther McCreadie; owner, manager, jewellery buyer; both are committed to continual education and improvement in our technique and quality rich service. Esther and Scott come from two different ends of the spectrum. Esther, a Wellington native, spent 7 years living in Chicago, where she developed an intense love of ethnic jewellery through her involvement in tribal style belly dance. She met Scott in 2004 while he was working as the senior body piercer and manager of the piercing department inside "The Alley" alternative shopping complex. Since the beginning of Scott's career he has done guest spots, attended the Association of Professional Piercers annual conference, but most importantly he has become part of a community of piercers who work hard for higher standards and better techniques. If you ask what Esther or Scott would want on their sandwich, the answer is always, more jewellery please.
