The store itself was pretty neat and clean and while they have a lot of product they try their best to merchandise it well. They don't sell their THC canned beverages in the 4 or 6 packs that they typically come in and price them per can which I'm not really a fan of since you wind up paying more than what the price of the 4 or 6 pack typically is, but this was the only "con" I had shopping here. The manager / cashier and all the employees were super friendly and helpful which I absolutely appreciated.

I saw their sign for Italian Hot Dogs, and being an aficionado of this locally created sandwich masterpiece, I was very curious about how Sam put his together. This is the definitive dive beer walkaway joint. I went back to the smushed together tables in the back and took a seat facing the door after ordering through the small window in the wall that separated the kitchen from the hoi polloi. While waiting I found a cold bottle of Pineapple Juice Soda, something rare to most fast foods around here. The doubled paper plate arrived with a large Italian roll loaded with a fat frank, chunky fried potato, green pepper, onion and smears of hot mustard that had dried somewhat in the oven, making it into an interesting coating on the food. The taste was quite good, especially the sausage which was heavy with garlic and retained its juiciness. Gotta admit, I really liked it. Prices - Ridiculously cheap! Sam's is on the borderland between dive and dump. Still, if you don't mind, the extremis atmosphere will not bother you. Just be sure to get out of town before sundown. A gentleman came out the booth and helped me pick it up .I apologized even though it was their package that split open. I was told it wasn't a problem but after paying for everything another man gave me the damaged cans. I said that I didn't want that package and he said you have to buy what you dropped. I told him that I didn't drop it. The package split when I was getting it down and I was told that it wasn't a problem and I was good. He refused to give me the undamaged Seltzer and said that I could open it over the sink. I asked him if this was worth losing a customer over and he said yes. I than told that I wouldn't be back. At which he stated good have a good night. The customer service that I received from this man was horrible. I have shopped there many times before and spent a lot of money there. This was the last time. I won't be back. You guys really need to have your employees give better customer service. No way to run a business. Especially when so many small businesses are facing closure. Very poor service from this man!

Odd things are cheap, and others are not. Freddy's is preferable when looking for wine or an array of beer. For the hard stuff, Froggie's is usually fine. There is no charm to Froggie's, if you look for that sort of thing. The cashiers are shady guys, and most of the customers tend to be even shadier. This is the place out of which old, white haired alckies seep. Pairs of darting eyes and laconic stares wait in beat up cars in the parking lot. They do not carry 18 packs of High Life, rarely 12 packs. My roommate remembers this distinctly.
