We were also pleasantly surprised just a few weeks ago when another contractor discovered water in our crawlspace. The man from Palm Springs was here in no time at all. He a little less than an hour here, advised us he found no leaks, and said that we just needed to re-caulk around our shower stall. Last night we had temperatures in the teens, and we suspected we may have had a pipe under the house to freeze and break, so we called PSP and asked them to check it out. A real live person answered the phone and scheduled one of their men someone to come check things out. We are now satisfied and established customers. The most expensive mistake we ever made. Quote was just under 10K, bill was over $18K. System had…read morecontinuous problems, backed up into the house and caused 100k of damage. System could not be repaired or made to work because lines between house and tank were put in fill dirt without proper foundation and tank placed far from the house. An honest and reliable company came in and installed a great system right where North Georgia Environmental (NGE) was supposed to in the first place. Now I'm paying out over 10k to replace the ugly retaining wall that NGE needlessly made in the front yard. It will be another couple of thousand to crush and fill the outdated plastic two septic tank system that they convinced us that we needed. (Didn't). To top it off, when NGE wanted cash immediately for the extra 8K for the elaborate, unnecessary, dysfunctional and overpriced system, we only had the 10K that they quoted for the system. So they put a lien on our house. Eventually we were able to pay the extra 8K. So if you're looking for financial ruin, sewage in your home and replacing bad work, North Georgia Environmental is the right call! Was the switch from a regular cement tank to the convoluted dysfunctional system done deliberately by NGE to get rid of old plastic tanks in their stock, or did they really not know what they were doing? I have an opinion and so does the company that replaced NGE's work.

They now want us to buy another pump from them and are instructing their technician (who is a college kid) to remove the old pump take pics and leave. Why do I have to pay for a new pump when the pump they installed is only 9 months old. They also are threatening to fire the technician. Poor business practices do not use them!
